I shiver in the cold watching Jacques instructing the boys around during their session. I begin to wish that I didn't give Sam my coat, but then again I would have a complaining brother and I probably would've ended up giving it to him anyway.
My toes curl in my football boots and I tuck my hands under my armpits. Sam is playing football with Draxler and Messi at the moment which is his dream come true and I am happy that he has cheered up a bit from yesterday.
A hand on my shoulder makes me jump and I look up into these kind brown eyes. He smiles at me and I smile back. "You look cold." Kylian teases watching me shiver as a gentle cold wind flows across the pitch. His hand leaves my shoulder making a sudden warmth disappear. Thank God my cheeks are already red from the cold!
"Yeah just a bit, I gave Sam my coat because he doesn't have one." I explain pointing over to my brother who is now in goal attempting to save penalty shots from both Neymar and Messi however, as expected, failing miserably.
"Well, why don't you come and kick a ball around and do a drill with me to warm you up?" He offers folding his arms and looking at me with a hopeful look.
I nod my head before my mouth could say no and I follow him over to cones and a goal. "What do you have to do?"
"You're supposed to be the assistant coach, you're supposed to be teaching me," Kylian sends me a flirty smile and my heart flutters at his words. I take a deep breath in trying to control my shaky breath and he passes me a football. "I'll go in goal, you have to dribble in and out of the cones and then shoot and get it in. We have three goes each and whoever gets the most in wins and the one who doesn't has to do ten push ups."
I give him a look and set the ball in front of me. "Go on then."
Kylian puts on a pair of goalie gloves and stand in the goal getting ready for my shot. I begin to dribble the ball around the cones and I pick up the pace a little bit before taking, what I would say, a decent shot on goal.
It's obvious that Kylian didn't expect me to get this much of a decent shot as he watches it with wide eyes as it goes in. I shrug my shoulders, trying to make it seem like I meant to do that, as he looks at me with surprise and approval. "Not bad, Adams, not bad at all." He compliments and a small glint of determination appears in his eyes as he gets ready for me to have my next two shots.
My second shot was again decent however an easy save for Kylian. My third shot on the other hand was definitely not the greatest, it goes over the goal as I toe punt it really hard. Kylian breaks down in laughter at my horrific shot. "Don't be laughing at me now, Mbappe, you haven't had a go yet, who knows you could be far worse than me." I tell him and he shakes his head still chuckling to himself as he hands me the goalie gloves.
I watch in slight amusement as he gets himself all set up to take his first shot. It zooms straight at me and smacks my leg, hard.
"Kylian!" I exclaim and rub the spot on my leg where the ball just hit me.
"Oops." He too shrugs his shoulders and a mischievous look crosses his face as he goes to start his second go.
I send him a glare.
Kylian has his go again but this time I move out of the way of the ball as it goes straight for my head. He bursts out laughing knowing exactly what he's doing. "You do realise that your supposed to save the ball, Olivia, not move out of the way of it." Kylian teases and I boot the ball back at him sourly.
"Push off, Mbappe, I know exactly what your doing." I chuck the ball back to him and he dribbles it back.
He scores this one, which is no surprise, and he is the winner, of course. Kylian jogs over to me as I take the goalie gloves off. "Did it work?" His brown eyes look down into mine.
"Huh?" I frown confused at what he means.
"Are you still cold?"
"Oh! No." I shake my head in reply.
"Good."
"Right, everyone back here please now that you have had a good half an hour practicing anything you want," Jacques calls us all over and I go and stand next to him as all the footballers gather round in front of us. "The plan for today is we are going to play a match, on your team you are allowed two wings, one mid, three defenders, one goalkeeper and one striker. And then after lunch, weight training and fitness tests. So, two team captains, Messi and Neymar, choose your first teammate."
The pair take in turns choosing their team until both have their players. "Neymar, your team can take the red bibs please and Messi stay as non bibs," I tell them and throw the bag of bibs towards Neymar's team so they can put them on. "Messi choose which say you want to shoot and Neymar you can have first kick off." I then pass the ball to the Brazilian and he chips it up into his hands swiftly.
Jacques then sets them up and I am left with my brother who looks like he is having the time of his life right now.
I wrap my arm around his shoulders as I go to stand next to him at the edge of the pitch. "Thank you." Sam looks up at me.
"It's okay, thought that you would like this more than staying at home in our apartment." I tell him with a small smile on my face, happy that my younger sibling is enjoying his time with me.
"No, I am not just thankful for that, also for letting me come and live with you and your boyfriend. I was expecting you to not want me to because mum told me that you left us because you didn't love us."
"She's a bitch, don't ever believe a word that has ever come out of her mouth, besides we don't need to talk about her, look where we are. Living our lives with footballers."

It's Sam's last day here as he begins his new school tomorrow. Kylian and Neymar come up to him with their hands behind their backs at the end of the training session. Both with the biggest smiles.
Kylian looks kind of cute when he smiles.
"Sam, we know this is your last day here, so me and Kylian have decided to get you something to remember this week by." Neymar tells him and the two show my brother what is behind their backs.
The boy's face lights up in shock and amazement as he takes the two gifts carefully from Kylian and Neymar. "No way! Thank you so much."
"Both the ball and shirt are signed the whole team, including Pochettino." Kylian tells my brother and he moves to stand next to me.
Kylian gets his phone out and I watch him go on his camera. "Olivia, take a picture of Sam with me and Neymar." He hands me his phone and him and Neymar go over to my grinning brother.
Kylian pulls down his hat further down his forehead and pulls the sleeves of his training top over his hands. I slowly tear my eyes away from him and to the phone which I hold up ready to take the picture.
All three of them smile and Sam looks like the happiest person in the world as he stands smiling with his two idols.
But I can't help myself but look at the smiling Kylian Mbappe as he slings his arm around my brother's shoulders.
