It's been a month since Slater tried to distance himself from me, and Hazel was released from the hospital the next day. Slater took me out on a date last night to make up for some of the hurtful things he had said previously and we had a wonderful time. He also had gifted me with a gorgeous diamond necklace since my birthday was coming up soon.
"Ow!" Hazel shrieked as I accidentally burned her neck with my curling iron, music from the party downstairs blaring, "Sorry! I'm done though!" I smiled, running my fingers through Hazels freshly curled hair. She smiled widely, "Thank you!"
"Your welcome! But where this is your first party no more than 3 drinks! Do not, I repeat do not let your bother catch you taking any drugs or doing anything dumb, or he will have my ass." She laughed at my rules nodding and agreeing before slipping into her Lacey heels and stepping out to join the party.
I touch up any of my curls before spraying a light coat of hair spray and heading down stairs to find everyone. I bump into chase first, "Hey man! Where's everyone else?!" I questioned dabbing him up.
"Not sure." He quickly responded before walking up the stairs I had just came from. I shook it off thinking he was probably high on some drug. I soon found Nolan who also acted weird, "Hey have you seen slater?" I asked, and he responded with a short No and wondered off. That's when I knew something was up.
Just then some arms wrapped around my waist and I swiftly turned around remembering what happened last time someone did that to me at a party, thank goodness it was Slater, "Hey beautiful!" He smiled.
"Hey babe!!" I smiled back excitedly.

The next half of the party was spent drinking and doing a line here and there. I felt the need to use the restroom so I excused myself and walked upstairs ti the bathroom. Me being tipsy I accidentally walked into one of the spares bedrooms to find Ace and Hazel getting it, "It was true! I knew it!" I stammered slurring what I was saying and nearly stumbling over, they didn't stop they just continued and told me to leave which I did.
Making my way back down the stairs I found my way to the couch and cuddled up next to Slater, starting to become a little more sober. Hazel and Ace joined us on the couch, cuddling together as well, and I smirked at them. A couple minutes later I seen Hazels face falter and Along with Ace's as she showed him the photo she was just barely sent.
Just then my phone started pining with a million messages... from Hazel. I pulled out my phone and sat up away from Slater out of his view to the photo, I stared blankly at it not knowing how to react or what to say.

I looked up at her nodding that it was him and her, I got up from the couch, and I leaned over Slater slapping him as hard as humanly possible, "What the hell?! What was that for?!" He exclaimed, "wouldn't you like to know?!" I said sternly to which he replied with, "uh ya actually because I'm your boyfriend!!"
"Oh sorry forgot to mention, we're done." I thew the necklace he gave me on our date last night in his face. "What?! Babe!! Why?!" He questioned and I showed him the photo, he instantly went blank, "Didn't think I'd find out did ya?!" I was screaming at the top of my lungs at this point, I knew all eyes were on me but I didn't care.
"Did you guys know?" I turned to look at Ace, Nolan, and Chase, none of them responded, tears started flowing and I ran off upstairs in pure pain and betrayal.
I locked the door behind me, falling down the side of the door sobbing until I knew all of my mascara had worn off.
I got up and ran to my closet pulling down my suitcase I had brought the first day I got here, shoving all of my things in it. I then went into the bathroom grabbing everything in it.
Guilt rushed over me and I wrapped up my curling iron and looked in the mirror at my tear stained cheeks, what about Hazel...? What will she do without me to keep her in check?
I couldn't think about that right now, all I knew was I just had to get out of here.
I packed up the last of my things before throwing on some sweat pants and a hoodie of Hazels. I zipped up my suitcase taking in what might be the last time I'm ever here.
I carried my things down the stairs watching as everyone come running over to me to try and stop me from leaving. I got in my car after carelessly throwing my belongings into the backseat, I started my car and got ready to drive away when I seen tears slipping down Hazels face. I couldn't leave her like this, I jumped out and ran up to her hugging her, "I'm so sorry Haze. This hurts me more than you could know." I told only so she could just hear, "It's ok...your making the right choice. You have a family back home, plus I've always wanted to visit Oregon maybe I can come meet your babies one day!" I smiled and nodded before giving her the tiniest peck on the cheek.
I got back in my car and drove off, I turned down the dark and empty highway.
I had drove for what felt like forever, fighting to stay awake as the sun rose, knowing I had to stop for coffee or something. I found a little coffee shop on the side of the highway in a small town. I turned off of the main road to order a coffee and I headed back towards Oregon.

I could tell I was close by the light rainfall that fell, I turned to the street the house was on...I felt a million nerves strike through my body all at once.
I pulled up the gate keeper and after some convincing he finally let me through. I parked in the driveway scared as to what I was going to walk into. I pulled myself the strength to get out and knock on the door.
My hand felt heavy when I tried to knock, forgetting he had cameras set up around the house knowing he'd get a notification of my presence. Before I could knock I heard thumps coming from the stairs and I heard the clicks of the door unlocking. _____________________________________ Word count: 1126
Ooo who will answer the door?! Haha I'm not sure myself. Hopefully you guys are liking it because from what I can tell there might be 2 or 3 more chapters then I will end THIS book. 😏
