"Hey can I have a few shots of vodka Indie?" She nods and gives me a smile behind the counter.
"Of course, Erin." The club was really packed tonight in celebration of Dinah.
As I waited for the shots I noticed a man farther down the bar in the corner. I followed the trail to his eyes and it led to the area Eli was coming from and it looked like she was beginning to approach Dinah.
He was drop dead gorgeous and I didn't miss the fancy looking watch on his wrist. I quickly adjusted my top and made my way over to him. His eyes never left that area even after I made it next to him.
"I've never seen you in here before." My breath caught in my throat as his eyes snapped to mines, one green and one brown.
"It's my first time." He nods curtly, his voice was deep and I could tell he was older than me though he looked really young. His eyes studied my face a second too long and then his face broke into a smirk.
Damn.
"I'm Erin." I leaned in to say since the music was a bit loud, he smelled nice and though he was sitting I could tell he was tall. I was 5'10 so I usually towered over most people.
"Nice to meet you Erin." I liked the way he said my name but it hurt my ego when he didn't tell his name. I noticed a glass of water on the counter, I guess if he wasn't interested I'd do what I do best.
"Shit." He quickly stood to his feet as I "accidentally" tipped over the water into his lap. "Oh God, I am so sorry let me help you." I say quickly grabbing a few napkins and doing my best to soak up the water near his crotch area. He eventually gripped my wrist lightly.
"It's fine really, I have to go. See you around Erin." I don't say anything as he walks away as searches the crowd.
I decide to go to the restroom which was empty, I examined the watch that I'd taken from the attractive man. I dropped it into my purse and pulled out my lipgloss. After applying a few layers I heard a vibration. I looked over to see a green purse on the ground with a few items on the ground.
I picked it up and looked inside. Wait... wasn't this El's purse?
I took the phone out and the caller ID read Mateo. I put the phone away and leave the restroom to search for her.
I noticed Dinah leaning on Chris and he looked concerned as she spoke to him.
"Hey Di, where is El?" I ask when I get in ears range and she rolls her eyes shrugging. "She said she had to go, Mateo came to get her."
"That's weird, she left her purse in the restroom. He's calling her right now." I could feel the purse vibrating nonstop. Maybe he was calling because she lost it. "Did you see her leave?" I asked and she shook her head no.
