Kiki had been here before.

This was Gabriel's old home. It would only fitting that he would die here.

She slipped her knife into her hand. She wanted to do it herself. She wanted to slit his throat, feel the life drain from him as his blood dripped down her hands.

He only deserved it for hurting so many people.

She danced with Bucky for a while, waiting for her moment. She had to admit, he was pretty good.

"You're pretty good." She said to him.

"Easy, Ki, you might actually start complimenting me soon." He smirked at her scoff. "When you grew up in the early 1900s, dancing is pretty important. I was taught by my parents, for my wedding apparently."

"I see him. Now's the moment, Barnes. Let's not draw this out." Kiki didn't really want to let go. She felt safe, shielded from the world, but she knew any bubble of protection would never last long before it was popped. Sometimes you had to pop the popper before they could get anywhere near your bubble.

She twirled once, twice, and spiralled out of the safe haven of Bucky's arms.

"Mind if I swap in, Gabe?" She grinned at the look of surprise on his face. He let go of the poor girl he had been dancing with and took her arm, leading her to the centre.

They danced closely, neither trusting enough to pull away. Gabriel knew she would kill him the minute he let his guard down, so he tried to be unpredictable. He saw the glint of a blade dancing around her fingers in time to the music, and dipped her. Bad choice.

In one fluid motion, she lifted the knife to his throat and made a deft cut.

"Bye bye, Gabe." She whispered as he slipped away.

He went limp in her arms and she threw him to the side. Screams erupted from around them as people noticed what had happened. They started to run around in a panic, and Bucky made his way over to her.

"Nicely done." He commented.

"Let's go."

Kiki spotted a still figure at the edge of the room, staring directly at her.

"Moonface?" She heard a familiar voice call.

"Lee?"

They ran outside. The police were coming, and Shield would be on their way by now.

Lee walked over.

"Moonface, what is going on? Who was that man?" She gripped Kiki's shoulders and interrogated her. "I thought you said you were done?"

"It's been...a while since we last talked, Lee. Probably longer than you think."

Bucky was looking back and forth between the two assassins, locked in a deadly stand off.

"Ladies, hate to rush you, but we might want to keep moving." He placed a hand on Kiki's back and gently pushed her along.

The plane touched down not far from where the jet was parked. Kiki had explained everything to Lee in as much detail as she could in the time frame, and Lee took it pretty well, all things considered.

"Al." Sol stood in front of them, with her arms crossed. "Where the hell have you been? We heard something about Gabriel being killed, at a party, and you come back all dressed up with – wait, who are you?"

"Lee. You must be Sol."

"Got that right." She turned back to Kiki. "What are we supposed to think?"

"I killed him." Kiki walked around Sola, dodging her arms. "I'm not who you think I am, Sola."

Bucky ran after her. "What the hell was that about?"

"She still thinks of me as her little sister. I was the one who found her. I AM NOT 9 YEARS OLD ANYMORE!"

"We disappeared when she had just come back. She was worried, Ki. So was I. That was why I came." Bucky took her arm and stopped her. "You were obsessed. It was scary, the look in your eyes. I didn't really want to kill him, I just had to be there so that you wouldn't do something stupid."

"Thank you, then." She could see why she had worried him. It was important to her, since she had never had the chance to avenge her parents, she could at least punish him for taking her sister. "I'm gonna go catch up with Lee."

"Be careful, Ki."

"Do you care about me, Barnes?"

Shut up, Sam.
