Prologue: From Remnant into Corruption

In the world of Remnant, where the Huntsmen and Huntresses train and fight, the White Fang continue their war against all humanity, and the Grimm continue to roam and try to eliminate humanity in the process. However, among humanity lies the famous (L/N) Family of Huntsmen and Huntresses known for their dragon-like Semblances whether they be breathing of elemental type, sprouting out dragon appendages, or mostly any ability regarding dragons, but one boy among the (L/N) Family is believed to have a very powerful Dragon Semblance. This boy is named (Y/N) (L/N), and his Semblance was called Dragon's Outrage, and the only son of the (L/N) family, of the current generation anyways.

Now, alongside the (L/N) Family, was the Rose/Xiao Long/Branwen family, or better known as Team STRQ, and both of these families have been friends since their graduation and days at Beacon Academy. Among the time, (Y/N) has been close to Ruby Rose, daughter of Summer Rose and Taiyang Xiao Long, and Yang Xiao Long, daughter of Raven Branwen and Taiyang Xiao Long, since their childhood and grown to like each other rather well. The same went with STRQ with (Y/N) regarding him as a very good family friend. However, all good things must come to an end...

One day, without warning, an abnormally large horde of Grimm, somehow, led by two Wyvern Grimm attacked the famous (L/N) Family. It was a long battle, but it was met with a serious blow for Remnant... The loss of the entire (L/N) Family, minus (Y/N) who was the only survivor. Days after the event, a large funeral ceremony was placed in honor of the (L/N) name, hell even the White Fang paid tribute, even though the (L/N) was human but mistaken for dragon faunus. All around Remnant, grief and sorrow was met, especially for young (Y/N), but luckily, he was taken in by STRQ into their family and was raised as such. (Y/N) kept his last name in honor and remembrance of his previous family. STRQ, Ruby, and Yang all comforted (Y/N) and gave him all the love and care in his time as he did all he can to protect his new family and not repeat another tragedy.

Years went by, (Y/N) was currently attends Signal Academy alongside Yang, who was a year after him, and Ruby, who was three years after him. Since a part of their family, Yang and Ruby have been closer to (Y/N) than ever as both girls have developed romantic feelings for (Y/N) but were slightly scared to ruin their friendship with him. During their time at Signal, all three have developed and forged their own weapons. Yang had Ember Celica, dual shotgun gauntlets for close combat. Ruby Rose created, and overdesigned, Crescent Rose, a fully collapsible scythe that shifts into a high-powered sniper rifle. (Y/N), however, went bigger than Yang and Ruby, and with their help, (Y/N) created Gravities' Predator, a high-powered minigun that converts into a hammer that can utilize Dust in devastating proportions.

Years later, before (Y/N) and Yang surely depart for Beacon, the two fighters were training Ruby in hand to hand before they leave but they were not prepared for what was about to come and the sudden, and gruesome, adventure (Y/N) will undergo... into a world filled with corruption and greed.

*(Y/N) (L/N) POV*

Here we were, Yang and I were training Ruby so she can handle herself before I leave for Beacon in a year, and Yang in two years. Yang and I have talked about it beforehand, and we both agreed to it as we had Ruby come with us but had to leave Crescent Rose so she wouldn't get any ideas. Anyways, we were in the middle of training as Yang sent Ruby backwards on her back as I heard her groan.

"Oooooow...." Ruby groaned from the pain.

"Oh Ohm, Ruby..." I said while popping my neck.

"Come on..." Yang said next to me. "You totally could have dodged that."

I walked over and held my hand for Ruby and helped her up.

"Yaaaaaang, (Y/N), I already told you guys. I'm not just cut out for hand to hand," Ruby told us until she cupped her face. "Why can't I just use my beautiful Crescent Rose?"
