Chapter 2: Kill the Authority

~Night Raid Hideout~
*(Y/N) (L/N) POV*

Since crossing paths with Night Raid last night, I, along with Tatsumi, have been forward an invite to join Night Raid. I accepted regardless, however, Tatsumi hasn't made his mind. He was outside morning his friends' deaths. I couldn't imagine losing both you childhood friends. Just imagining me losing both Yang and Ruby is hard enough. I couldn't even stomach it, but I wouldn't let that happen. I was in my room that Sheele escorted me to last night, and I knew she was happy I was joining. Hell, I was too, since she was my only friend I made while being in this cruel corrupted world. Leone reminds me so much of Yang, who I dearly missed. Anyways, I was working on Gravities' Predator and made sure she was working perfectly for the next time I would use her. I heard a knock on the door and turned around.

"It's open!" I called out and I saw Leone walking in.

"Hey there, hot stu-- Prrrrr..." Leone purred at me. I was curious then I realized I didn't have a shirt, jacket, or even my helmet on. "Oh~ Mama likes what she sees~"

"Very funny, Leone," I said while rolling my eyes. "So, what did you need, Leone?"

"I thought it would be a good time for you to meet the team," Leone replied which made sense. "I was on my way to grab the other guy."

"Tatsumi? He's outside in front of his friends' graves," I told Leone. I grabbed my shirt and jacket but left my helmet off. I heard a slight groan coming from Leone and I saw she had a pout on her face. "Oh relax, that wouldn't be the first time you'll see me shirtless."

"Better not be. I want to see more~" Leone flirted some more and it made me chuckle a bit. "What's so funny?"

"Well, you remind me so much of my childhood friend," I told her. "Her name is Yang Xiao Long, and she would always be forward with me about just about anything. She had a body most guys drool over, and she uses that against me and tease me a lot."

"Oh? I got competition." Leone said which made me worried.

"Please no..." I said with a deadpan look. "Let's get Tatsumi."

I walked out of my room, after grabbing my weapons, and headed out with Leone following and made our way towards the front doors. We walked outside until we found Tatsumi kneeling down at the graves of his friends. I felt bad for him. I walked ahead and placed my hand on his shoulder.

"Tatsumi, I am sorry for your friends." I gave my condolences to Tatsumi.

"Thanks, (Y/N)." Tatsumi replied to my condolences.

"I know you feel like they should be here, but there isn't a way we can change time," I told Tatsumi. "All we can do is continue on, for them. It's what Sayo and Ieyasu would want."

"Yeah, maybe your right." Tatsumi agreed. I held out my hand and helped him up. I turned him around and he was surprised to see Leone.

"So, have you decided to officially join yet?" Leone asked him. "Decimus already agreed to join."

"Oh, honey, "Decimus" is my bounty hunter name," I corrected Leone. "Just call me (Y/N) anywhere else."

"Gotcha, (Y/N)~" Leone said as she added a wink.

"Monty Ohm help me..." I thought to myself. I saw Tatsumi walking up to Leone.

"I told you guys--" Tatsumi tried to say, but he was pulled into Leone's side breast. I think she's trying to make me jealous.

"Monty Ohm, definitely help me out here..." I thought again while thinking about it.

"You really do have the makings of an assassin, y'know." Leone told Tatsumi while poking his cheek.
