Chapter 17: Kill the Fate

~Night Raid Hideout, Kyoroku~
*(Y/N) (L/N) POV*

Now with everyone back within the hideout, mainly Tatsumi and Mine, although this time around, their faces had faint traces of red. Many of us were confused by the duo, but we didn't pry, well... majority of us as Leone would questionly tease both Tatsumi and Mine. However, at this time, we were gathered in the dining room of the hideout discussing what we gathered from around Kyoroku or what our spies have found, and little to say, we gathered a decent amount of intel.

"That's all the info the spies gathered." Akame said ending the gathering of intel.

"We will launch the plan the day of the Path of Peace celebration." Najenda announced.

"Wow, going out with a bang, huh!" Leone mentioned as I had to agree with her since I was sitting next to her while Sheele took the seat to my right, and Chelsea took the seat next to her while both Tatsumi and Mine took the table's end across from Najenda.

"During the festival, we'll slip through the crowd and sneak into the palace," Najenda continues speaking while a drawing representation of Bolic was in front of her before stabbing said picture with a knife. "Then we'll go for the kill!"

"Serves the bastard right," I spoke agreeing with Najenda. "This action will, no doubt, send forth the Revolutionary Army into action."

"Precisely," Najenda agreed with me. "Failure is NOT an option!"

Every one of us had different replies, mainly nods with "uh-huh."

"However, what would we do with the last Rakshasa Demon, the Jaegers, AND Esdeath?" I asked.

"Regarding the Rakshasa Demon and the Jaegers, eliminate them IF you cross paths," Najenda replied. "Esdeath... is a different story."

Before any other questions could be asked, Susanoo's footsteps could be heard from the other room.

"Dinnertime, everyone," Susanoo announced before walking towards the table. "I pulled out all the stops today. Is everyone ready to have their minds blown?!"

"Oh boy, I can't wait for this," I comment with a smirk. "Hit us, Su."

I was soon agreed upon by everyone else. Susanoo first began with Najenda.

"Najenda gets ramen," Susanoo began while presenting a bowl of ramen for Najenda. "The noodles are extra firm and the balance of chicken and salt is just right!"

"OOH!" Najenda "ooh's" from her dish while Susanoo presents Mine with a glass with a dessert inside.

"Mine gets strawberry parfait," Susanoo says while Mine gushes over the dessert. "I added a little something extra."

"Yummy!" Mine cheers while gazing upon the dessert. Nearing Lubbock, Susanoo places a bowl what looked like a lobster dish.

"And for Lubbock, I've prepared a fresh Bohai shrimp." Susanoo tells Lubbock. 

"Ohoho!" Lubbock cheers while Susanoo places a wooden bowl of ice with bottles of sake and a plate with oden, I think.

"Leone gets oden and assorted local brands of sake!" Susanoo says earning a happy grin.

"HELL YEAH!" Leone cheers before looking at me. "Want to share some sake with me, Sexy Dragon?~"

"If you're actually sharing, my Lioness, then why not?" I replied earning a quick peck from Leone that was until Susanoo placed down the biggest assortment of meat I've ever seen in front of Akame.

"For Akame, I have a collection of meats from every beast I could find in the forest," Susanoo says while Akame seemed like she was in heaven, more meat heaven to be in fact. I couldn't help but chuckle at her antics, which were cute in her own way. That was until Susanoo placed a plate of what looked like a chocolate cake in front of Chelsea. "For Chelsea, I have prepared a Chocolate Mousse Gateau."
