"So you're Herielle?" He broke the silence as he plopped down besides me.
"Yes, and you're Draco?" Draco smirked.
"The one and only," which was then followed by a soft laugh.
I broke out in a smile and chuckled in response. I felt my cheeks begin to heat up, so I looked down and began fiddling with my rings.
It seems Draco followed my eyes and let out a low whistle,
"Woah, you have a lot of rings- what houses do you represent?" He reached out and lifted my hands. Shocked at the contact I didn't say anything.
"Hmm... I notice some of these, Slytherin, uum, Grindelwald, perhaps?" Draco, still holding my hands, looked up. I guess he didn't realise how close he has gotten because I could feel his breath on my face.
He jerked back a bit, "Pardon that," he let out an awkward chuckle.
Not wanting it to become awkward, I was quick to respond.
"Yes, Slytherin and Grindelwald, and Merlin, as well as Crouch, Selwyn and LeFay." I watched as his eyes sparkled with amazement.
"Impressive, so what's your full name?"
"Herielle Teodosius Grindelwald-Slytherin-Merlin." His eyes widened a bit more, cute.
"So mom said we're around the same age, when is your birthday?" He asked after asking more about my bloodline, many of which I could not answer because I knew so little. I told him we could check over the blood test later.
"My birthday is September 19th, yours?"
"Kinda close, mine is January 6th." He let out a smile.
"Will you be going to Hogwarts next year then?"
"Hogwarts?" I asked confused, it was probably a wizading thing, perhaps a school?
"Yeah Hogwarts, it's only the best wizard school in the world." Draco responded as though it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"I bet I'll be placed in Slytherin- did you know that you're related to him? Salazar Slytherin was one of the most talented wizards in all of history. You have to be in his house, it's perfect for you- for us."
"Is that so?"
"Of course, I've been studying for a while now. I'm actually well passed 4th year material actually. Father said I have to be prepared." Draco smirked confidently and babbered on about his achievements.
He was soon cut off by the knocking at the door,
"Young Master Draco and Young Missus, dinner's ready, they're waiting for you already."
Draco sat up and held his hand out to help me up, I placed my hand in his and was surprised by how warm it was. I felt my cheeks heat up again.
"I wonder what they're serving today. I hope it's yummy-oh there's this one dish that I love- it's delicious. I'll have them make it for you someday." Draco chattered on until we arrived at the doors, there was an elf waiting to open the door for us.
The doors open and all the eyes were on us, there were some new faces.
"Herielle dear, I have some people I want you to meet," Miss Narcissa stood up and walked towards me. She held my hand and walked towards the front of the table.
"This is Herielle Teodosius Grindelwald-Slytherin-Merlin, she'll be staying with the Malfoy house for now." Everyone's eyes stayed on me and some nodded while other just watched.
