**third person pov**

Lena hadn't expected for her and Kara's fling to carry on. Especially since Kara had been cheating on Mon-El with her the entire time. Why? Well, nobody knows. Lena has tried to ignore it, but it's hard. Her and Kara have been hooking up for two months, a lot of time for Kara to tell her significant other, that she cheated. But, everytime she's with him she feels guilty. She even tried to break it off with Lena, but everytime she's with her she just falls harder.

"Lee, Alex and Maggie wants us to have dinner with them..." Kara remarked frowning. "Oh, well that doesn't sound so bad. Why the long face?" Lena asked and Kara sighed. "And Mon-El." She finished. "Oh. Well that just means today you can tell him- that we are- you know. If you want?" Lena replied. "Yeah- yeah I guess so." Kara responded. She didn't have the heart to do it.

"Hey Kara, can you come do my makeup?" Lena yelled from the bathroom. Kara immediately got up and walked to the bathroom. "Lena. What makes you think I know anything about doing makeup, except for lipstick-" Kara paused. "Holy shit. You look so- hot. Fuck." Lena chuckled at Kara's remark. "Thank you, so do you. And I don't think you know anything about doing makeup, I just missed your presence." Lena replied, smiling. Kara wrapped her arms around Lena, kissing her cheek. "Lena. I have something to tell you." Kara began and Lena nodded, "I don't think i'm ready to tell Mon-El that we are a 'thing.' I'm just not ready, i'm so sorry." She finished. "Kara, it's okay. I'd wait a millennium for you." Kara's heart warmed at Lena's words.

"I love you so much, Lena." Kara responded. Lena turned around facing Kara, connecting their lips. Once Kara let go, Her and Lena's head's' layed on eachothers. They both smiled, the flutter in their hearts increasing. Lena still hadn't told Kara, 'I love you' yet. She was too afraid that right when she did, it- everything would all go away. That she'd lose Kara, the person she loves most in the world. She was right to be afraid.

"I'm here Kara, where are you guys?" Mon-El said over the phone. "Uhhh we are inside? I'm looking right at you." Kara responed laughing. "Oh! Now I see you, K coming over lol." He replied, hanging up. "Hey guys! Oo appetizers." He said. Kara smiled, trying to find a little spark with him, that was maybe- maybe still there. Then the waitress came by. "Hey! You guys ready to order?" She asked. "Yeah!" Alex responded. "I didn't get to pick..." Mon-El said. "I'll have the pasta with potstickers, and he'll just have what i'm having." Kara said smiling. Lena felt extremely jealous. Although she thought, theres no reason to be jealous it's food, she wasn't even believing herself.

After a while they had gotten their food and were talking and laughing. "Yes Maggie! Seriously, whenever you guys aren't around, Lena is a different person, she's crazy!!" Kara stated, laughing. "Mhm little Danvers. I refuse to believe Lena Luthor has a 'crazy' side. I just don't believe you!" Maggie replied. "I- seriously!! Lena, tell them that you are crazy when they aren't around!" Kara demanded and Lena shook her head. "Never! That's between me and you." Lena chuckled. "See- you- she basically just admitted it. I'm done with you kids! I need a bathroom break." Kara pouted and everyone at the table laughed.

Kara had came back after about 3 minutes and everyone had settled. As Kara sat down, Mon-El stood up. He got down on one knee and pulled a red velvet box out of his pocket. Lena was the first one to notice. At first, she almost laughed thinking Kara would say no. Then Maggie, Alex, and finally Kara noticed. Kara gasped, she showed all kinds of emotions on her face. 'What the hell.' Ran through every person at the table except Mon-El's. None of them expected it. "I love you, so much Kara Danvers." Mon-El began, "Bullshit." Lena uttered and everyone's eyes went on her. "What- Oh I didn't say anything. Carry on, please." Lena sarcastically smiled. And then everyones eyes were back on Mon-El.

"From the day I met you, I knew you were the one. I'll love you forever. Will you please, make me the happiest man alive, and marry me?" He asked and everyone was frozen. Kara looked at Lena, then she looked back at Mon-El. She wanted to run, but there was no running. So, she said the only the only thing that came to her mind. "Yes." She said. Everyone's eyes widened. Lena's heart broke, completely. "What?" Lena asked. "But- I'm sorry, I have to go- I have... boss stuff to do. Yeah. Thanks for dinner- bye." That was all Lena could say without breaking down. Mon-El leaned in for a kiss and Kara barely returned it. "I have to get back to work but i'll see you later, future wifey." He said, and everyone cringed. "That was so extremely cheesy. Don't ever say that again." Alex said and Mon-El just walked out. "Kara what's wrong?" Maggie said noticing she looked upset. "I don't know. I have to go." Kara said gathering her stuff and running off. "Well. that was weird as hell."
