but im pretty sure its just mild, oh and sunghoon smokes too but like barely and he explains everything that happens after 2 years ago while Jay complains about how terrible he feels for jungwon bc of everything that happened lololol

Jay rested himself on Sunghoon's bed,
Sighing loudly as he groaned, making Sunghoon
Laugh silently as he looked at his bestfriend.

"I can't believe how everything's going!" Jay shouted, exclaiming His complaints out to Sunghoon.                                                                     

"Well, I didn't expect it either, but when i heard from Jungwon That you left him without any explanation, I see why he doesn't Want anything to do with you.." Sunghoon chuckles.

"You're not helping at all Sunghooooonn.." Jay whines,
Making Sunghoon chuckle, "I'm just being honest, to be
Fair, you do understand why Jungwon's upset right? It'll take Some time, and as in, a really long time before you get to warm Up to him like old times, especially now that you got into a Bar fight with his boyfriend.." Sunghoon shivers.

"I know, I do understand, I was an idiot." Jay mutters out.

"Great, at least you're aware." Sunghoon says, "It just feels
A bit, I don't know, I just feel kinda bad and worse.. Actually no, Scratch that, I feel terrible." Jay mumbles, "Tell me that again.."

Sunghoon chuckles, "I could.." Jay replies back.

"It's gonna be really difficult now, 10 months with Jungwon,
It's like we're complete strangers." Jay says, sitting back up
As he noticed Sunghoon bringing out his cigarette lighter.

"Want to take a smoke?" Sunghoon asks as he gently places
The tip of the smoke onto his mouth, inhaling as he gently lit the End of the cigar, breathing out a small cloud of air.

"Nah, I'm not interested." Jay says.

"You're never interested in anything now." Sunghoon scoffs,
"I used to smoke a lot, but after you left, I stopped smoking regularly, Only when i'm stressed or want to relax." Sunghoon mentions.

"Did you stop taking alcohol and cigars Jay? You seem so
Different too." Sunghoon asks, "No, I don't like smoking now, I destroyed my vape already. I still drink alcohol, but rarely." Jay mutters out, "Ah, I see, you have changed, usually you'd Be stubborn and say you'd smoke one last cigar only to finish The whole box." Sunghoon mentions.

"Ah.. Right. I used, to." Jay chuckles.

"Anything wrong?" Sunghoon asks quietly as Jay nodded,
"I just miss when it was Jieun, you, Jungwon and I." Jay
Mutters out, "Oh, and Sunoo." Jay chuckles.

"Are you still with Sunoo? I haven't seen him in a while."
Jay says silently, "Of course I'm with Sunoo. It's been 6 years Already with him, he just visited the province for a family visit, I didn't think he wanted to see you either because he was the one To first get a call from a crying Jungwon 2 years ago." Sunghoon Mentions.

"Ugh, never tell me about it.." Jay rolls his eyes.
"Just sayinggg." Sunghoon chuckles, "I miss that too. We were Working for those 2 idiots while Jieun was just moral support for Everyone, it really was nice times. We all distanced after you broke Up with Jungwon." Sunghoon mumbled.

"What do you mean?"

"Everyone was still friends yeah, but we stopped hanging
Out after it, it was Jieun, Jungwon, Sunoo, and I, then it became Sunoo, Jieun, and Jungwon, then Jungwon and Sunoo, and then They just stopped going together as often, they're still best friends Of course, but y'know, busy schedules." Sunghoon sighs.

"God, it really is all my fault huh?" Jay says, feeling
A gloomy cloud go over him, he hated how much he affected
All his friends, he knew it'd go this way, but not this badly.

"Not exactly, I guess we just all agreed that at some point,
We'd have to be ready when you come back." Sunghoon says.

"We just didn't know it'd be so well, not really soon, but suddenly, I guess we were just caught off guard because you basically texted No one about you coming back." Sunghoon mentions.

"Yeah, I didn't think I could text anyone after that mess, even If it has been 2 years, 2 years has long passed and it's still The same reaction Jungwon would've given even if I came Back a month later." Jay sighs.

"Not really, he's more patient than you realize, I guess
His job and him leaving you changed him a bit." Sunghoon mumbled.

"Well, i'm just assuming based on how I see him." Sunghoon adds.

"I don't know whether it's good or not.." Jay groans,
"Well, 50/50, but, it's okay, you have enough time to redeem
Yourself I guess.." Sunghoon says, "I only have 10 months to
Redeem 2 and a half years of pain for Jungwon, how the hell
Am I gonna do that?" Jay says.

"You can always get him back." Sunghoon shrugs.

"No, Hoon, he's with Heeseung, and besides, I can't
Just walts up to him all of a sudden, Heeseung would
Kill me right then and there.." Jay says.

"Nahhh doubt he would." Sunghoon says.

"Have you seen him in the party?! Because that's
What i saw! I saw my life flashing before my eyes!"
Jay says, placing his hand over his bandaged cheek.

"Well– Okay maybe, but I'm sure Heeseung wouldn't mind..
He isn't like that when he's not drunk, I guess Jungwon and
Him have been having a really rough time." Sunghoon mutters out.

"Seriously?" Jay asks, "Kinda." Sunghoon shrugs,
"Not because of you in any way though Jay, it's just
They've been pretty on and off because of Heeseung's
'Partying' problem, not even Jieun likes him, and that's
Jieun." Sunghoon says.

"Yeah.. but at the same time.. That's Jieun.." Jay shakes
His head as Sunghoon chuckles.
"True, she'd pick you for Jungwon over Heeseung any day,
I guess it just depends, but what do you think about it Jay?
I know it's really been difficult for you, but you need to take a step Back and get into Jungwon's shoes." Sunghoon says.

"He's on cold ice with Heeseung, not to mention you came
Back. He's been really shaken from what I heard from Sunoo, It's really stressful for him, that's why he looks like he barely gets Enough sleep, even before you came actually, he's been really stressed, The poor boy can't get a rest huh?" Sunghoon silently says.

"For how long has he been suffering..?"

"Well, surely for a while, but maybe for half a year or so?
Yeah, pretty much." Sunghoon explains.

"God.. You don't understand how bad I feel for him."

Jay says silently, "So do I.." Sunghoon sighs.

In the end, All jay could genuinely hope for was that
Jungwon would rest and sleep easily, not becoming friends with Jungwon at this point was what he cared about.

What he cared about most, was Jungwon's well being.
