Spencer Rue watches through the hospital door, his mother's hand gripping him tightly. His father punches at them screaming things nobody can understand.

“ You should have brought him to me first,” she says.

“ What would you have done mother, he was screeching like a madman, tearing things off the walls, and threatening me” He pushes her hand off “ and you say I should have brought him to you” he seethes.

She turns back to her husband, who is still banging through the door. She puts her hand on the glass and grabs spencers hand.

“I need you to tell me word for word what he said”.

Spencer turned away and shut his eyes. It was hard to focus on just one thing this morning.

“ He was screaming about the rain, about how it was wrong,” he says.

“ The rain was wrong,” she repeats “ what else ?”

He turns back to his father, who had been normal just a few hours ago, “ he said ‘ the crows said we had till June ”.

His mother turns pale white and she runs, leaving Spencer confused once again by his parent's behaviors. He looks at his Father “ hopefully she isn't going mad too”

Spencer laughs to himself, Rain, crows, and June what does that even mean?
