Two friends with interlocked fingers, strolling down across the campus with students gossiping and glancing over them especially the deaf one who continues talking to Winter who beamed a cheeky grin as a positive response to your rambling

"So what are we gonna do this evening?"

"Maybe watch Netflix and do some stuff?" She sign languages to you and you nod, kissing her knuckle before jogging off with her to your next class. She's also your guide whenever someone wants to talk to you and you can't help but feel adored at that girl who had been your ears this whole time

"Minjeong-ah, you okay?"

She nods, signing that she'd be away for a while for her grandparents' funeral. You frowned and gave her head a gentle pat, telling her that you will be fine

"I'll be waiting for you, hmm?"

"Okay" You kissed her shaking hands and hugged her close, she was with you in your darkest times, and you're there for her as you should

Winter immediately fell into slumber in your arms, smiling whilst you caressed her soft cheeks then let her nuzzle against your chest

Days after, you were going to school alone and you were missing your friend who left days ago. You wore your hearing aids then walked to your classroom, smiling as you saw your cousin sitting by your chair

"Hey Y/nn!~"

"Hi Momoring~" Momo was shocked from your response, you point to your ear which shows your hearing aid making her smile. The class went on as usual, but without your lovely Minjeong

"So, how are you doing these days?-"

"Well, pretty bad... Bullies get ahead of me once they knew I hear everything" You show a huge bruise around your stomach and back with some located at your upper back, Momo drags you to the infirmary where Karina stood with a professor checking the medicines and first aid

"Karina-ssi, can you take care of your sister here? She's being bullied..again"

"Y-Yes unnie, thank you" Karina glares at you and gently laid your bruised frame down. You mouthed something which she caught and sent a flick on your forehead

"Is it them again?"

"The usual, I-I miss Minjeongie.. S-She keeps me safe all the time, I-I like it" You frowned and opened your shirt for your sister to examine and heal, Karina chuckles and passed her phone to you

"Did you hear that, Min? She misses you~"

:Y-Yah, we talked about this..

Red immediately covered your face reaching your eartips, spilling the beans to your suspicious sister who has been rooting for you and Winter for years. Winter on the other hand, was biting her nail and trying to contain her small smile as she walked down the halls of their school, she reaches the infirmary to see how red her deaf friend was

:Close your eyes for me, will you?

"U-Uh, alright.." You obeyed, closing your eyes until you see darkness, the smaller girl walks to you with Karina giving you two some space and dragging the confused professor with her

"Open your eyes.."

"M-Minjeong? You're here!" You immediately pounced off the bed and hugged her, the shorter gave an embarrassed giggle while pushing you off gently not noticing her palms on your toned abs until the two of you had a small distance

"Uhm.. W-Why are there bruises on your body?!"

"Y-Yah, that wasn't my fault I swear-" She shushes you with her index pressed on your lips, you placed your flailing arms on your sides and just focused on her adorable glare
