"So it's finally a date?"

:You don't wanna? You do know there's a line for both of us

Karina laughs through the phone as she spoke, Y/n was at the library to pick up several novels to read later on, the brunette whines and fixed her things immediately

"Fine~ I'll be home in 5"

Karina brushed the crunched up part of her dress, wearing her brown leather jacket to match what Y/n wore earlier. They were mistaken as a lot of things: Married couple, Secret Lovers, or Best Friends with Benefits. But not all seemed connected as they were taking it slow as best friends and they were fine with what they had now

The door opens to reveal Y/n in her usual outfit: Leather jacket over a button up paired with ripped jeans and high top Converse. Y/n was surprised, and she almost dropped the two cups of iced coffee when Karina gave a small twirl to flex her dress

"Well, that's one fine girl right there.."

"C'mere you" Y/n was pulled close, the coffee placed in the fridge then her hands were occupied by Karina's waist. Smiling to each other, they gave gentle pecks on the lips then held each other close for a while

"You look absolutely amazing"

"You do too, and I'm not gonna say anything but.. We kinda matched outfits, again" Y/n laughs softly, remembering the times they had the same outfits almost everyday.. They don't hate it, they love it even more

"Mhmm, and that's how people will know we're only for each other"

"Advancing much? But okay, I'll take it as a compliment.. A-And I'm just yours, always" Karina says, trying to hide a smile in her golden locks which didn't go unnoticed

"I know, and I also know that... I got these flowers for a pretty girl like you"

"W-Wow, that's beautiful.. I can't thank you enough, you're the best" Karina kisses her cheek, smiling at herself and the flowers before carefully placing it in a pot by the dining table

Their fingers laced, they headed out to the nearest restaurant and got themselves in a small booth in a corner

"Here are the menus, and we do offer a free Red Velvet Milkshake for couples"

"Thanks, we'll take it!" Karina cooes, leaning close to Y/n who smiled and gave a nod. They got themselves some Ice Cream Cake with Spicy Mac n Cheese as main dish, both their favorites plus huge batch of fries as side dish

"These look so delicious, I wanna take a picture out of them!"

"Go on, let's get some pictures then we'll eat" Y/n smiles and they took selfies and candid photos of themselves with the food, Karina giggles and placed her phone down before enjoying her meal with the brunette

"And Ms. Son was like, 'I know I'm already short, no need to smack it in my face, Ms. Myoui' and I almost spat my iced coffee when Ms. Myoui was trying to woo her again"

"Oh as if we aren't doing that all the time.. I'm just a few inches shorter than you then you mock me for not reaching the cookie jar!" Y/n laughs even more, Karina huffs and threw a piece of fry in Y/n's mouth causing the girl to smirk as she catched it in between her teeth before chewing it off
