Finals exams were coming up, Y/n hasn't been fine for the past few days and the only thing motivating her to go to school almost everyday was Hyewon.. Her friend

But was she really her friend still? After confessing how she felt for months, was she sure about saying those words to someone that she knew she would lose sooner or later? What if-

"Hey, you alright? You've been off these days, you know you can tell me"

"Just nervous, I haven't reviewed anything yet, I'm still not done with school works and the group's a mess! And my parents are still fighting" Y/n covers her face in disappointment, sighing as she tried to contain tears in her eyes. But then she felt hands cupping her face and wiped her cascading tears

"I know it's hard, sorry for what you're going through.. We can take a time off, get your mind off things and help you back on your feet, does that sound good?" Hyewon says, frowning at her pained expression and held herself back from crying as well. She saw how the latter tried not to break down every now and then, and she couldn't help but just look at her from afar

"Wednesday, 9am.. We'll go out, eat outside while studying then go to an arcade to release some stress.. You okay with it?"

"Y-Yeah, sure.. Thank you for doing this" Y/n had slight tinge of red on her cheeks despite the tears still running down, looking away to avoid Hyewon's soft gaze that sure melted her heart

Suddenly, she felt herself melting in her embrace. Gentle pats on her back made her feel assured that everything will turn ot alright, she hugs back and closed her tired eyes to savor the moment

Few days later, Y/n was already at the mall as planned. She ordered some fast food and she picked Hyewon's favorite, she smiles as she kept her food in her bag carefully to not get squished by anything

It's already 9:15 when she sat by the food court, looking around for a certain brunette. She texts her as well, yet not even a notification was seen nor heard from her phone, so she waited for more and thought that maybe her phone was down or she's busy with something else

But little did she know, she was busy.. But not about something, but SOMEONE

"Y/n, thank god I found you.. Classes are gonna start soon, aren't you going to?"

"Ah, Hyewon's coming so.. You might wanna go on without me" Yujin frowns at the answer, she saw the cake lover with someone else and Y/n barely knew that other person she's entertaining and might not even know that she's having a competition

"J-Just come, Hyewon unnie is still busy... With someone"

"Oh, that's fine I guess.. Wanna eat some breakfast with me before heading back? I-I kinda spent a lot on these and I don't want to waste it" Yujin smiles and sat down with her, enjoying the breakfast before walking back to school.. Yujin took the initiative to hold Y/n's hand, smiles assuringly when Y/n was frowning a bit

"W-Why did you hold my hand so suddenly?"

"I could feel that you're nervous, so in return of sharing your food with me.. I'll be with you for now, since Hyewon-ssi hasn't really showed up yet.." Y/n nods, returning the smile and they headed to their Microeconomics class.. And there goes Hyewon staring from afar, feeling jealous and angry from the way Yujin had Y/n in her grasp

Those days later, Y/n was finally comfortable with Yujin again.. An issue occured and this caused their friendship to drift apart, Yujin confessed her love for Y/n yet she was turned down.. And until now, her love hasn't changed

"Oh yeah, I need help with our law subject later.. Since we're partners for this interview"

"Sure, I almost forgot about that haha.." Y/n trails off, yawning softly and her head laid against Yujin's shoulder. The taller had stood frozen, yet left a small smile along her lips as the other dozed off with her hand still intertwined with hers

"So cute"

"Get some rest, Y/nn" Yujin kissed her crown, snuggling herself close and closed her eyes to savor the warmth she was feeling.. And that caused feelings to grow even more, even if the latter had liked someone else, it didn't matter to her as long as she'd get to spend those days with her

"And I guess that's a wrap! Thanks for doing this with me, Yujinie"

"No worries, anything to help you" Yujin says almost lovingly, her eyes softening under Y/n's gaze. They held a stare for a while, their smiles widening and full of purity. Not noticing the pair of eyes glaring the back of Yujin's head, their fist clenching and was ready to charge until-

"As to celebrate, I'll come by your house after we finish our pendings! We'll watch movies, just the way you like it"

"Aww~ That sounds like a date then!" Y/n giggles and hugged Yujin, their laughs echoing the room making Hyewon even more jealous

Days passed by, after school, a motorcycle parked in front of Y/n and she wasn't surprised that it was Yujin. She immediately brightened up and hopped on from behind, grabbing the helmet from the girl's grasp

"Hold on, it's gonna be a bumpy ride"

"Okay~ Where do I hold?-" Yujin grabbed her hands and latched them onto her stomach, her face blushing when Y/n held tighter but not enough to suffocate

"Please be gentle"

"Noted, I'll take care of you" It was a slow start, but then the acceleration increased as the vehicle swerved and cut corners then soon reaching Yujin's apartment in a flash

"N-Never gonna ride anything again!"

"Sorry, I tried not to speed off so I can spend time with you" Y/n frowns as her head props up, Yujin unclasping the helmet off her and pulled her for an embrace

"We'll use my car next time, deal?"

"Mhmm, now I want cuddles" Yujin smiles and dragged her inside, they tickled each other not until Y/n drops to the couch with the taller holding her close ending on top of her

"Oops"

"You alright?" Y/n nods, her eyes wandering all over Yujin's features, specifically on her soft, plump lips. She gulps lightly, her hand snaking around her nape and slowly held her closer and closer

Their lips met in the softest way possible, moving in rhythm and full of pure intention as Yujin tilted the other girl's head to deepen the kiss. Their limbs tangled in each other's embrace, not caring about their slightly uncomfortable position and just kissed as if they've been separated for a long while

Yujin contains herself and pulled away to avoid any further gestures, she smiles and wiped the smudge of lipstick off of Y/n's lips then booped her nose

"Y-Y/n, what are we?"

"I dunno, b-but.. I like to..reconsider your confession, spending these times with you got me feeling some type of way.. That I don't feel with Hyewon" Y/n brushes her hair, keeping Yujin's bangs off her face. The brunette blushed and kissed Y/n's cheek, smiling after then shuffled into a cuddling position

"So, feelings are mutual then?"

"Very much, yes.. And I-I want us to try and date, see if it works out" Yujin tears up, smiling widely and hugged Y/n adoringly

"Thank you, I won't let you down"

"I know, even if I liked someone else.. You're still there, waiting.. I adore you for that" Y/n kisses her deeply, their hands intertwining and their hearts warm

They finish their day with a movie marathon and cuddles, they considered it as their first date and as celebration for finishing their schoolwork as a team
