It was when Mina was broken, after a 7 month relationship with Jeongyeon

"You couldn't understand, I got my responsibilities and works to finish, let's just stop this"

"I... I'm sorry" Mina was left alone, cold and sobbing against the floor when Jeongyeon slammed the door on her. She cried, but that stopped, her expression couldn't read yet she was sure she's done

Few days later, she was in school, Jeongyeon was at her own. The latter forgot what had happened as she enjoyed her life with her friends, soon meeting someone she wasn't sure she'd end up with

Now, she's in a karaoke in an arcade, singing with few of her friends plus Chaeyoung's group. She sang shyly as the other sang beautifully which made Mina's heart flutter all of the sudden

"Eh, you okay?"

"Mhmm, I'm alright.. Take the mic please" Mina gave the mic to Momo, her eyes were stuck on a certain cub, watching how she sang and grooved to the tune of a love song. She felt something, it was warm.. A good warmth; that sweet, angelic tone got her bright red yet the blue kights couldn't show the shade of her feelings

That's when she knew, she's having a crush on Son Chaeyoung

Few more days, she was constantly posting poems about Chaeyoung.. She was contented on her work, posting it again then waited for what'll happen-

*ring*

"C-Chaeyoungie?? How'd she know about my phone number?" She picked up, a soft hello was heard and it made her blush madly

:Hey, your works are amazing.. I write poems too!~

"Aww, really? May I see them someday?" She hears a soft hum, her smile grew and she bit her lip to contain herself. Chaeyoung could hear the quiet squeal and it got her smiling as well

:I'll see you at school, Myoui.. Get some rest, think of me too

"Okay~ Get some sleep too! And goodnight, sweet dreams Chaengie~" Mina was shocked at the nickname, Chaeyoung blushing and chuckling at the older's shy gasp

They bid their goodbyes, hanging up with huge grins on their faces. Their days were better as more days passed by having small moments together whether with friends or in class

Seeing or being in Chaeyoung's presence felt like home to Mina, she had been admiring the cub and she knew Chaeyoung noticed too

Christmas came, the two were in a swimming with their classmates. They had fun by the side of the pool waddling their feet at the water, sharing small talks and smiles

"Mina, are you into someone at the moment?"

"Y-Yeah, why'd you ask?"

"Just guessing, I bet it's Sana or Wendy.. Right?" Mina laughed heartily and shook her head, those two were the gayest yet she's not into them as they basically bicker with each other most of the time

"Or.. Is it me?"

"Uhm.. Huh?" Mina was stunned, a hand held out to her where she reached and she was dragged upstairs to the balcony of their room

They had a conversation about their feelings, Mina was bothered and scared. That Chaeyoung wouldn't accept her as she is-

"I do accept you, Minari.. No need to worry okay? I know what goes through your head, I can see from your eyes"

"S-Sorry, Jeongyeon gave me trauma and that's what makes me scared to confess and fall in love again.." The latter hugged her, Mina was frozen from the contact, yet hugged back.. She didn't know Chaeyoung liked her too, nor those days when her poems were noticed quietly by the cub

They had a private romance, none of their friends noticed, all they knew was they were close friends
