Kim Chaewon, the princess of IZ*Land and the next Queen. She has been destined to marry a fine heir from Daegu yet she hasn't known who it was

"My dear, you should prepare for dinner.. We have guests arriving, and more suitors for you"

"Mom, those suitors don't suit my taste.. You know how I am with men, their bulky chests and overgrown thighs.. It's not what I like" She mutters from the balcony only in her night gown, her mother strutted to her and gave her shoulders a gentle squeeze

"Afraid not, my daughter.. I assure you you'd like one of them, I made sure of to find one of the finest in all of Korea just for you"

"Thank you, mother.. I'll be right down"

And just like she said, Chaewon came down the halls with her footwear clinking the floor surprising her family and guests

"Chaewon, meet Prince Y/n of Daegu.. He wishes to have a talk with you later, isn't that right?"

"Yes, your Majesty.. Thank you for the permission" Your deep tone deceived the whole Kim family, your own kind knew how you were since you were a little girl. Disliking men and their towering pride, you were more attracted to your own kind

"Shall we eat, m'lady?"

"Oh, thank you.." You offered the seat next to you, she sat down and made sure you got her to sit first before you

"Any achievements done this week, Y/n?"

"Just a bit of sword fighting, I had a play battle or two but I gained a few scars right after.. Didn't sting like a bee" Y/n says in a fake, cheerful tone and glanced at Chaewon who seemed comfortable in her presence

"More guests are coming, where do you suggest to go later, princess?"

"My room would be nice" You smiled at her, she glances shyly and took your offering hand in hers which made you grin more

Hours later, a dance has been initiated and the guards were guarding Chaewon's room as you and her were having a moment

"You're undoubtedly attractive, Y/n"

"I never knew a princess is just as same as me" The princess was confused, yet you took her hands and ran them on your chest. You wore a corset that made sure to hide your chest well, deceiving homophobic families and charming their dearly princesses

"But don't be afraid, my love.. I can be anyone you want, just as long as I can taste these lips of yours"

She takes you in for another kiss, her hands roaming up your back scratching the luxurious fabric of your vest. Pulling away from the heated kiss, her eyes sparkled in the midst of the night and her lips glistening and swollen from too much contact

"May I court you, princess?"

"Of course, make sure it's worth our time" Chaewon caresses your face, your eyes closing and leaned onto her palm. You sigh and left a soft peck on her hand, smiling widely

"I won't fail you, my love.."

The night was eventful for the two, they came back to the ballroom all fixed up yet faint smudges were seen by their siblings

"Someone's being messy"

"Oh shut it, he's just so..d-dreamy" But indeed, you were. You were charming in Chaewon's eyes and she didn't regret her words. The way you just walk elegantly but at the same time pretending to be a prince impressed her greatly

She had her smile up during the night, her eyes followed you until you reached her place

"The clock strikes 12, darling.. I must go back to the kingdom with my family, I'll be seeing you soon"

"Let me walk you out" She locks her arm with yours, strutting out of the palace and onto the main gates

"I'll miss you.."

"Darling, we've just met and had a few kisses but here you are swooning for me.."

"And of course, I'll miss you too, my love" You spun her around and held her in your embrace, she chuckles and slipped something on your finger

"You must not take the ring off, that's my gift for you to remember me"

"I'll cherish this, princess.. I won't let you down" You kissed the side of her forehead, slowly letting go of her and held her hands

"Then this will make you remember me"

You plant a kiss on her soft lips, and at the same time putting a necklace around her neck. You pull away to look at the masterpiece, your masterpiece

"I'll send letters every morning, every night then I'll pass by if you want me to"

"I will wait for that, now go home and get some rest" She lets go of you, kissing your cheek before she nudged you away to your sister who was smirking

"Someone has a lover~"

"I suppose she's the one, my daughter" You nod and hid the blush on your cheeks with your hat, glancing back at Chaewon who waved at your carriage

The ride home was fine, you got back to your room smiling and thinking of the girl of your dreams

You were in your sleepwear, laid on your bed you had your guitar in hand plucking random tunes whilst you sang softly. You looked up to the moon, muttering something as you kept strumming

The next day, Chaewon woke up to someone singing from her side. She opens an eye to see you humming while reading a book surprising her

"Yah, I didn't know you'd come!"

"Hush, I woke up early and luckily the guards let me in before the King and Queen wakes up" She smiles and lifted the blankets up her chest, you glanced at her with a soft smile and went back to reading

"I prepared you some food if you're already hungry, princess"

"Thank you, Y/n.." She tips over and kisses your cheek, heading over to the small table only in her night gown made you feel fuzzy and warm that you covered your face with a pillow then let out a quiet squeal

"Have you eaten yet?"

"I think so.." And your reading was disturbed, she tugs you to the table and forced you to a sit which shocked you

"Eat with me, I know you're hungry.."

"Alright" You placed down the book and the pillow beside you, you had your breakfast with Chaewon peacefully and you can't help but admire her bare features

You waited in her room as Chaewon took a bath, you were bored so you took your guitar and played some songs

The time you spent with her on that day was beautiful, you serenaded her by the hill laying by the grass looking up at the sunny sky

"I will, and I'll look at you just like how precious you are to me" You muttered lovingly as you twirl strands of Chaewon's ginger locks around your finger, she blushed and sent a kiss on your cheek again

"That's the 10th sneaky kiss today, princess"

"I can't help it, you're too..annoying" She winks and dashed away with your guitar, you stumbled and ran around the hill with her

Chaewon knew, out of all the times she met face to face, she'll consider your feelings and be with you for a long time
