Alam kong mayroong bala ang baril na kasalukuyang hawak ko. I can hear the warning signs in my head, screaming to dodge and avoid the incoming bullet. It's telling me to drop the gun in my hold and stop the insanity of this game.

Ang mga kaibigan ko na nasa tabi ay hindi mapakali. The nerves and anxiety that's seeping through them is affecting me. Mas nakakatakot tuloy ako na maputol ang journey ko kasama sila. I can't help the disappointment and sadness that's eating my heart at the thought of leaving them.

Naipikit ko ang mga mata nang dahan-dahan kong kalabitin ang gatilyo. I prepared myself for the final shot and the burst of pain, so I was just as surprised as anyone else when a shout cut through the air. Parang napaso ang sarili kong kamay at malapit ko nang mabitawan ko ang hawak na baril.

I was one of the players who gasped in surprise as Theo made his way to the front. Hindi ako makapaniwala nang makita ang takot niyang mukha. Hindi para sa sarili kung hindi para sa'kin. Even as he stared at the NPC with that determined eye, he stole multiple glances at my direction to ensure my safety.

Theo... is a game master?

Irritation flashed on Theo's nervous features. "Hindi ako nananaginip, Eura. I am telling the truth. I am GM#0031, who participated in designing and testing the game last year. Alam kong alam mo 'yon." ang huling sinabi niya ay para sa NPC.

"You are... confessing? As the game master?" he slowly asked.

Tumango si Theo at muling sumulyap sa'kin. Hindi ko alam kung anong sasabihin o gagawin. The gun is cold in my hands and I'm speechless at Theo's revelation. Sa dami-dami ng tao na maiisip kong game master, I would never have thought that it's Theo.

I actually thought it was Wes. Pangalan niya ang nasa dulo ng dila ko kanina.

"What the fuck..." narinig ko ang mahinang pagsinghal ni Kairo.

"Let her go." Theo ordered, stepping closer to us. "I'm already here so let her go."

"You know what will happen if I did let her go, right? Alam mo kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng confession mo?" halatang-halata ang galit sa boses ng NPC.

My heart dropped as Theo nodded. Pinabalik-balik ko sa kanilang dalawa ang tingin bago nagkaroon ng tapang na magtanong.

"What will happen?"
