Alfonso's POV

I had woken up to Casita dropping items onto the floor. I shoved my face into the pillow still feeling exhausted.

"What?" I mumbled through the pillow. Casita starting moving the dresser back and forth.

"Oh, so he looked at it? The picture as well?" I said understanding Casita's movements. "Hope he's prepared to encounter them then," I slowly got up and got ready, bumpinig into Alma Abuela. I bowed to apologize. She smiled with her hands together.

"It's quite alright," Alma said.

"May I please have a word?" I requested. She seemed quite pleased with the mannerism.

"Yes, you may," she agreed.

"Is it alright if I go on a small journey in order to find Bruno's fated soulmate? I know it's been a crazy few days dealing with everyone and me having to use my gift everytime, but this also counts as the job that you had called me here for. I had kept my word for coming here and seeing their strings, but I have also kept my word for helping your son find his possible true love,"

Alma's eyebrow raised surprised by the request I'm asking.

"What do you mean by journey?" she questioned.

"We have to follow the string until it reaches the end point. I may need a bit of help,  but we're going to have to travel," I claimed.

Alma looked down debating on if she should allow this.

"I promise for us to try and find it as soon as possible, so I can come back and finish my job," I stated. Alma sighed trying to take my every word into her head.

"As long as you keep your word," Alma stated strongly.

"I promise to protect Bruno and bring him back safely," I stated. "I want us to leave by this afternoon. I have some family relatives that I must ask,"

"What!?" a voice shouted. It was Peppa. Alma and I turned around noticing the rest of the Madrigals were listening all along. They were trying to hide behind a small green plant, but it clearly wasn't working.

"How did you..."

"The animals told me!" Antonio interuppted Alma's question before she could finish. My eyes laid on Bruno's reaction. He walked over to me.

"Are we really going to leave by the afternoon?" he asked anxiously. I nodded and placed my hand onto his shoulder.

"Is that okay?" I asked.

"Yes, I'm alright with it," he replied. "Just...nervous,"

We all had settled down for breakfast before the two of us headed back into our rooms to start packing for our trip. Jae had came back into my room.

"I'm here for the trip!" Jae stated proudly. "Casita! Look what I got you!" Jae placed a vase with flowers onto the dresser. "I feel rude for invading into your house everytime," Casita started moving Jae around the room with happiness. Jae laughed and smiled. Jae then turned his attention towards me. "Do you really want to meet them?"

"They might be useful to help find Bruno's lover," I stated. Casita opened the door to see Bruno wearing a new poncho as well as carrying a backpack. Changing his flip flops into something more comfortable to travel in.

"Hi, my king!" Jae said taking a flower and getting on one knee. I smacked Jae's goddamn head and placed the flower back into the vase.

"Stop being fucking weird," I stated. I look at Bruno to notice he gave a slight laugh. "Are you ready to leave? Jae will be bouncing back and forth between his portals, but he's technically tagging along with us," Bruno gave a nod as Jae summoned his portal. "Did you use your vision to see the two people in the photo?" Bruno went silent. He shook his head no feeling as if he got into big trouble. I placed my hand onto his soft-haired head. "I hope you're prepared for them. We'll be seeing them first," Bruno nodded and gave a smile. I shifted to look at Jae as he had a childish smile on. "What?" I asked sturnly. Jae gave a giggle.
