Trying Kimonos

Bruno's POV

"Hey," Reiki said getting my attention. "Walk with us,"

Alfonso stepped in not willing to let me go. Hisa placed his hand onto his shoulder.

"He won't do anything to your little thing," Hisa stated. Alfonso looked at me then back at Reiki for a while before letting me go. He grabbed his sweater and put it around me.

"Just in case," he said feeling some sort of emotion. He stared at the brothers as the air suddenly had added weight in it. "If something happens, I'll know,"

Reiki hugged himself and rubbed his own arms.

"What a scary man," Reiki teased before I walked out with the both of them. The sun was slowly setting. Their village was a lot larger than ours. There were many stores and markets that were opened everywhere. "About Alfonso," I looked up at Reiki waiting for him to finish the sentence. "He's not someone who'd easily help a person. So why did he choose you?"

I scratched my head confused.

"I'm..not sure. Maybe it's because he's kind..." I answered. Hisa and Reiki looked at each other then laughed out loud.

"Alfonso? Kind?" Reiki stated. "I'm pretty sure there's other reasons, but that for sure isn't one of them. Especially for a request that could take days for him to do it,"

"Sir Bruno, sorry for my brother's big mouth. He's just upset because Alfonso doesn't like helping him out when it comes to women. Reiki may say that, but we both know his heart isn't that small. Although, Alfonso has a hard time comprehending emotions," Hisa noted.

"Al can't understand emotions?" I questioned.

"You heard that damn right," Reiki added. "Having that kind of gift has made Alfonso not understand human feelings. It's probably because it can cause less bias when people ask for favors from him. Such as if he chooses to ever cut the red strings he sees,"

Cutting red strings?

"Alfonso has probably never felt love himself. He can be quite clueless when it comes to actions that he does which can lead a person on. So it makes us curious if maybe...you've helped Alfonso understand certain emotions,"

I looked at Hisa then looked at my hands.

I've never thought that Alfonso wouldn't be able to understand feelings. It's never occured to me. That can explain some things on how he acts, but maybe I am helping him without knowing.

I looked over at Reiki.

"What!? I didn't read your mind. Sheesh, I don't use my gift all the time. Ya know, although we don't hang out with Alfonso that much. He does seem to really like youuu...." Reiki snickered.

"W-What!?" I shouted. "Well, I don't want him to hate me..."

"Alfonso becomes possessive over things he likes, especially cute small things. That's probably why he's always spending his time with animals," Hisa stated. I blushed and tried my best to use my hair to cover my face.

"You guys might have the wrong idea...Alfonso would never like someone like me. Besides! I'm a man and he's probably into women. He just sees me as a younger little brother,"

"What makes you so sure that Alfonso is into women?" Hisa teased. I took the bait and looked at him.

"H-He's not?" I asked. Hisa shrugged leading me on.

"Are you into men?" Reiki asked. I stopped walking with them as they looked back at me. They both looked at each other pondering as to why I had discontinued the walk.
