Picking Poison

Bruno ran towards Alfonso and Liam, tripping and stumbling, but he still wouldn't stop until Alfonso had noticed his prescence. Bruno was only getting further and further away from the two while Hisa and Reiki followed behind dragging Leo's ass with them.

"A-Al!" Bruno struggled to finish his name. His energy was disappearing with every step that he had taken. He felt so pooped out because he's not someone who'd like to enjoy running. Leo watched the whole scene from behind seeing that this would only cause more chaos. They had already escaped the white travelers, why go back for them? This could cause an even bigger scene compared to how it already was.

Alfonso had popped into the scene while seeing that his family was fighting the men. They were trying their hardest to protect the Madrigals as well as themselves. Jae was struggling because Edward could easily be gone if the bullet hit him in the right spot. Edward had no gift nor a fast reaction time in order to dodge it. Jae would occasionally lose his focus and use the portals to transport the bullets somewhere else, but he'd take some slashes from the leader's sword.

"Fuck," Jae whispered under his breath. He couldn't take it anymore and had to do what he wanted to do. It was a very selfish wish, but he used his gift to his advantage. He summoned a portal under Edward as he had fallen back into Jae's village. Now it was truly only the Kim family aganist the whole army of men. Liam grabbed onto Alfonso's arm and tried to tell him one last time for him to escape.

"Jae! Move this man to where Edward went!" Alfonso commanded as Jae turned around to see his brother. He gave a nod and used his portal as Liam had vanished inside. The leader shot towards Alfonso, but Jae shoved him as he had missed. Alfonso got off the horse and ran over to kill off the rest of the white men who were going forward towards his parent's wall. Bree had to break off her mirror into shattered pieces and stabbed them one by one, but she had felt such guilt for doing it.

None of the Kim family wanted to kill anyone. Their guilt had slowly started to trickled around them, slowly pulling on their ankles. Alfonso pulled out his sword that he had taken as well as the gun and started to have a sword fight with them. Alfonso looked around as he was in the middle of the scene while his family was to be seen around every corner of what his eyes could take in.

"Alfonso!"

Alfonso looked around and could see the motions of a green poncho.

"Bruno!?" He shouted. "What are you doing here! You need to leave now!"

Bruno didn't care to listen and continued to walk towards the scene.

"This one could be a real keeper if we take him with us," the leader said. He had hit Alfonso's weak spot once Bruno had stepped into the battlefield.

"You can't. Bruno, run!" Alfonso shouted. A sudden scream was shot up from the sky. They all looked up and had noticed that Dante had been hit by the shoulder. He lost control of his gift as he dropped a big boulder right under Alfonso. Jae ran and pushed Alfonso out of the way and getting his legs crushed by the big rock. He hit the ground in pain as his brain could not understand what was going on with his lower half.

"Alfonso!" Jae shouted in pain. "Take Bruno,"

Alfonso's face became troubled and stressed out looking back and forth. His dad was slowly unable to control his powers, and his mother and Bree was next in line. Jae became more selfish and had transported his parents and sister back to safety, but he was at his limit of using his gift.

"Alfonso!"

Alfonso!"

Alfonso!"

Dante,  Analise, and Bree shouted before disappearing.
