"Shameless girl" He heard his driver mumble and couldn't help but smile at how correct he was.
He could feel her fingers slowly trailing up his chest to reach his face. His grip on the wine glass he held tightened and eyebrows furrowed as her suffocating scent entered his personal space.Exhaling deeply,he willed himself to calm down as he tried to focus on the glow of the street lights he could feel through his closed lids from the car window as the car sped through the lit lane,or the light drumming of the dying rain against the car roof. But feeling her sharp nails trace his jawline, his control snapped as he jerked her hand away.
"You are so hot!" She whispered in a supposedly husky voice."I can't seem to keep my hands off of you."
"Wish I could say the same about you." He smirked with his eyes still shut and head unmoved against the seathead.
In an instant she leaned away,"Excuse me? What do you mean? Don't you think I am hot?"
You don't get it girl,do you?
He scoffed straightening up and opening his eyes to cast her a bored glance,"Sitting here, next to Raghav Rao in his favourite car, which by the way is worth way more than you, is the biggest compliment of your life."
His dark eyes shone and his sharp features emphasized under the dull throb of the lights from outside the moving vehicle. She unconsciously leaned towards him,her eyes fixed on his full lips as they moved leisurely voicing insults for her. But she didn't care, not when it's Raghav Rao. When the words ended and his lips pulled up into a smug smirk, her eyes went upto his.
"This is the reason I have stuck around Raghav Rao!This attitude of yours has me hooked." She sighed in delight.
Raghav leaned back into his seat as he closed his eyes again."And now you have no reason to stick around. You begged for a date, you had it. Your time is up now."
"Not so soon." She shifted closer and planted her hand on his shoulder." I have told my mom, that I will be out all night for studies."She giggled."Why don't you and I make the most of the night then?"
"Not interested."Raghav easily picked her hand from his shoulder between his two fingers and dropped it on her lap.
She huffed before trying again,"Come on baby, just one night! We—"
Before she could complete her words, the car came to a screeching halt. Raghav opened his eyes frowning to watch his driver hurriedly get out and head towards the bonnet. He returned immediately after and informed that the engine is giving some problem.
"It will take some time Anna." The man informed his boss apologetically. As his gaze flitted from Raghav to the barely clad female who was perched next to him,his face twisted in a grimace. So this was the source of the nasal voice which refused to shut up.
Raghav felt amused by his driver's open expression of dislike for the girl beside him. Same thoughts man. He nodded at him telling him to fix it quickly before turning to the girl beside him.
"So as I was saying—" Her voice was again cut off by a tapping against Raghav's window. She looked away annoyed.
Raghav lowered the black filmed window and came face to face with a little girl.
"Ēmaindi?" ( What happened?)
The little girl smiled at him."Anna, please buy this!" She pointed to the tray she held.
Raghav instantly got down opening the car door as he asked what it was that she was selling so late at night. The girl simply held out a pretty box of vermillion for him.
