flashback
Ten minutes back
Raghav was had no sense of speed or danger as he sped through the roads. The engine of his car roaring as loud as the angry beast inside of him which threatened to come out every passing moment.
The picture of an unconcious Pallavi tied to a chair was all he could think about.
Vedanth.That nasty fucker!
His phone rang but he ignored it.But when it rang for the third time in a row he swiftly answered, his eyes still fixed on the road as he used one hand to navigate the car.
"WHAT?!" He barked.
"Anna, where did you go Anna?! And you took nobody wit-" Viraj's anxious voice was cut off by him.
"The warehouse! Take you men, police and all and reach there as fast as you can!"Was all Raghav said as he threw the phone to the backseat, not even bothering to cut the call.
When the warehouse came into view,Raghav stopped the car. He knew if he drove uptil the gate, Vedanth would know and he couldn't afford that. Not when saree ka dukaan was still in his hold.
Quickly exiting the car,Raghav took long strides towards the gate whilst retrieving his gun which was tucked in his waistband on his back.He loaded the pistol, ready to attack as he quietly made his way through the gate to the building.Upon seeing the lock on the large metal door Raghav frowned.
Did he come to the wrong place? But he was sure it was here where Pallavi was. He had seen it in the picture.Panic filled him but Raghav took a deep breath to remain composed. It was not the time to panic,he reminded himself,Pallavi was unsafe.Deciding to take round of the building to look for other doors he quickly began to walk to the back of the building. And that was when he heard her.
"Please..." She was crying.
Raghav gulped the heavy feeling down as he rapidly looked around for a door feeling the walls with both his hands as he did so.Dammit! Why did he have to leave the warehouse unguarded? He cursed himself.Planting his head on the warm steel wall he tried to listen. They were inside,he could hear Vedanth speak clearly. The mere sound of the man's voice set his temper off but his words made him frantic.
He was going to shoot Pallavi.
With wide eyes and panicked heart Raghav again roamed his eyes around the back wall. There had to be some inlet, some passage. When he heard the man begin to count,Raghav decided he will have to break the front door. He couldn't let Pallavi lose her life just for the sake of catching Vedanth. As he began to rush away, his eyes fell on a tiny flicker of light coming from the other corner. He ran in that direction and sure enough there was an opening. That psycho man had cut a hole in the metal wall almost of the size of a toddler. As Raghav heard Pallavi shout a loud no,he quickly scrambled past the small opening and was inside the building. Under the dim-lighting,his eyes shot straight to the two people already present in the room who had their backs to him,one of which he wanted to strangle to death.
"Two."He saw Vedanth shove the gun into Pallavi's head mercilessly and his anger surged with a numbing intensity.
Picking himself up from the low height he had assumed to enter the place,he brought forward his armed hand and settled his focus right on Vedanth's head. His eyes remained fixed on his target as he heard nothing but the sound of his heart pumping blood.Raghav's hand slowly shifted a little lower and now he aimed for Vedanth's arm that held a gun to Pallavi's head.He could kill Vedanth another time.Right now he was supposed to keep her safe.
