Hey so this really isn't a poem it's, as the title implies, a rant on Perfection. I didn't plan this ahead I just write. I feel like it makes the whole thing better so without further ado here's my rant that might turn into a free verse poem somehow like all my other rants. Yay!
~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•Perfection
Is the type of word that sets
me on edge. Because it has
no real meaning at which
everyone can agree on. SoWhat
Is the true definition of
Perfection? Well in my
honest opinion there is no
such thing as perfect. As
flawless, or as without faultSo
You can take out that word
without meaning
Mr. Webster. It has no use to
you. There's no such thing
asPerfect
But The Mighty God Himself!
That simple wordRuined
Lives. As they strive to be the
best, as greed and hoard it
away for everyone's attention.
To prove to everyone that they
can be perfect. A word that
isn'tReal.
for a human. But it's
Something everyone can't
Resist to strive for. A word thatLies
Saying everything will be alright
when it can't promise you that.
It became a goal to those who
are blind and can't see the
mistakesHumans
Make. We have flaws, but
that's what makes our stories.
We have faults, but we can
pick ourselves up. We are not
perfect. So stop trying to chase
down theImpossible
What
are you going to prove?Who
are trying to impress? Who are
you trying to be?It
makes me mad that the people
think they're perfect yell and put
down the people who aren't or
people who don't care. UsingWords
to knock them down and make
then think they are worthless.Mistakes
are amazing and Perfection
can't be achieved by anyone
butGod
