Yawning, Rory nuzzled her head into her pillow. Wait.. pillows weren't hard and they definitely don't breathe. Panic filled her chest when she popped her pounding head up to see Bucky dozing underneath her on the living room couch. For a brief confused moment Aurora couldn't remember how she ended up passing out on top of him and then it hit her.

She'd told him that she loved him after basically calling him stupid while being super drunk. Groaning in embarrassment she laid her head back down, but huffed out a happy sigh when she remembered that Bucky had told her he loved her too.

Grinning, Aurora bit her lip to try and contain her happiness, but then the moment was ruined by her doubts. What if he was just humoring her because she was drunk and didn't think she'd remember? It hadn't felt like that by the way he kissed her, but Bucky Barnes was a difficult man to get a read on. One minute he would completely avoid her, the next he was stocking up the freezer with ice cream and the fridge with her favorite toppings when she was about to start her shark week.

Carefully untangling herself Rory got up and tucked him back in without waking him up. She really needed to use the bathroom and he really needed the sleep. Aurora could tell Bucky wasn't sleeping again based on the dark circles under his eyes and the haggard look on his face. Thankful that he'd taken her shoes off she made a silent escape down the hall to the closest bathroom.

Washing her hands and splashing cold water on her face to sober herself up a bit more Aurora stretched and cracked her back. Moaning loudly in relief she closed her eyes for a minute to appreciate feeling boneless for a second before heading out to the kitchen for some Ibuprofen and Gatorade. She needed to hydrate and take care of the slow pounding that was taking up residence in her head.

Walking right into Bucky as she exited Aurora let out a surprised squeak and then frowned when he briskly pushed past her to go inside the empty bathroom. "James, what are you doing? That's the ladies bathroom."

Folding her arms under her breasts in amusement when he pushed open each of the two stall doors as if he was looking for danger. The scariest thing in there was the large glass bowl of pads and tampons.

"I heard you moaning. Why were you moaning?" He asked walking back over to her when he didn't find anyone else in there, his tone accusatory.

Snorting, she walked away really needing that Ibuprofen now. "Really and who exactly would I be in the bathroom with, Barnes?"

Quickly catching up to her with his longer legs Bucky took her hand in his making her come to a full stop. "Aurora.." Rolling her eyes in annoyance she took her hand back.

"Dude, I was in there by myself. I was moaning in relief because I'd just popped my back after emptying my very full bladder. Still jealous? Cause if so I can pop your back, but you're on your own with the toilet." At his look of embarrassment she shook her head and grasped his left hand. Men were so stupid sometimes.

Lacing their fingers together she started walking to the kitchen only letting go when she got to the cabinet that had various bottles of pain relievers and what have you. Hip against the counter he watched her grab the bottle and struggle to open it, quickly getting irritated. Chuckling Bucky held his hand out. Grumbling under her breath about stupid child locks Aurora handed it over to him.

"I'm sorry for being an idiot, but in my defense when the woman you love disappears and then you hear her making the same sounds she made with you.." He shrugged as he easily opened the small plastic container. "Jealousy got the best of me."

"So you really meant it then, you love me?" The biggest smile broke out on her face when he nodded.

"Of course I meant it, Aurora. I wouldn't have said it if I didn't." Handing her the pills Bucky walked over to the fridge and grabbed her a bottle of water and a Gatorade. "Did you mean it?" He asked nervously waiting for her to tell him it was a drunken confession that was a mistake.
