Kimura's POV:

I left Kousuke's house with an uneasy feeling. Once outside the house, I stopped and turned back to look at it.

'Was having Dona pose as prostitute for tonight a good idea?'

I frowned and took a deep breath. Suddenly the idea of having all those bastards drooling at her in lingerie made me sick to my stomach. I was a possessive man. A very, very possessive and dangerously jealous man. The exes of mine who were still breathing somewhere out there could testify. I literally couldn't control myself when any man came any close to my woman.

I liked Dona enough to be possessive of her. But at the same time, I realized I had already began being possessive of her even before she accepted to date me. Yes, I didn't trust her at all, but she was already quite special to me and the only way I could let her go was if she died.

'Should I go back in there and take her?'

While I hesitated a lot, I received a call from Shotaro.

"Hello, Shota?"

"Hello, Oyabun. Are you free to talk?"

"Yes, Shota. What's this about?" I asked, giving up on my doubts and entering my car.

"Dona, Oyabun,"

"I see. Have you found anything suspicious?" I asked with furrowed brows while motioning for my driver to take me out of the property.

"I went through all the files about her that your father had gotten from our brothers he'd asked to investigate her,"

"Yes? Did you perhaps find something?" I asked with a frown, my foot tapping the car's floor in anxiousness.

"Nothing, Kumicho,"

I was silent. I released the breath I didn't know I was holding in.

"But..." he suddenly spoke again.

"What Shota?"

"Paperwork is easy to falsify," he stated. "Now that I am done supervising the production of our drug, I have a lot of time on my hands."
