Dalia's POV :

I was dragged to the back of the penthouse to a room I had never been to. A third bodyguard unlocked the door and I was dragged in.

It turned out to be a little room with black leather walls and a leather floor. It was clearly soundproof and the only thing inside was a bound chair in the center of the room.

At that moment, I awoke from my state of shock, realizing I had to escape at all cost. Or at least die trying. I couldn't become Kimura's prisoner.

'Wake up, Dalia! You need to leave!'

The third bodyguard began to prepare the bound chair for me to be tied in. I noticed that all three weren't focused on me, even though two of them still held me by the arms. I had to do something.

When they least expected it, I started by attacking the two that held me. Then attacking the third. I threw hard punches, slaps and even managed to strangle one with his own tie until he lost consciousness. By the time I was done, all three were on the floor- two groaning in pain and bleeding from their noses.

Immediately, I ran to the door and the moment I opened it, Kimura stood right there with about four more of his men behind him. He glared at me, immediately noticing his men on the floor.

Without a single care at this point, I tried to attack him but he blocked me with ease and next thing I knew, he'd gripped my neck so violently it choked me immediately. Looking me dead in the eyes, he pushed me back until my back harshly hit the leather wall- his grip on my neck firm and unmovable.

I was choking and felt like I was slowly dying. My eyes watered and I angrily hit his chest and shoulders with the bit of strength I had left. I was getting weaker with each second as I gradually lost my breath. I couldn't speak and could feel my consciousness slowly but surely leave me.

I looked straight into his dark and cold eyes, my vision beginning to blur. And then, his gaze switched unexpectedly and he gave me a sad but clearly fake look.

"My Dalia~" he said with a solemn sigh, shaking his head in disappointment.

He let me go and I literally fell to my knees, coughing and wheezing. My eyes were red and watery and I rubbed my hurting chest because of how uncontrollably I coughed. I struggled so much to regain my breath and when I finally did, I slowly looked up at him. Eyes red, I glared at him with so much despise and hatred at that moment.

He squatted to look me directly in those eyes, his own gaze warm and unaffected.

"I am so sorry, my love," he said softly. "I shouldn't have laid my hands on you. I promise you, it was the first and very last time."

I glared silently, wanting nothing more than to kill him with my bare hands at that moment.

"But that doesn't mean I won't correct you whenever you misbehave," he added. "I will never use these hands of mine..."

He raised his hands and stared at his palms.

"To hurt you physically. In anyway. Because I love you. But if you push me to the wall, I'll have my men handle it for me. They have made no promises to you. Keep that in mind," he ended quite seriously.

I couldn't believe what was happening. It was still so shocking to me that I let out a dry laugh. I was in disbelief.

I looked at him again and proceeded to spit on his face.

"Fucking asshole," I insulted through clenched teeth. "You'll have to kill me because I will never submit to you. Torture me! Do whatever! I will never give in to your madness..."

He smiled and wiped his face with his sleeve.

"I know, my love. You're a strong woman. That's why I fell for you in the first place," he explained ever so calmly.

He reached out to caress my cheek but I slapped his hand away. He chuckled. A genuine chuckle like this was some funny situation.

"But you see, Dalia," he continued in a low voice, his face getting closer and closer to mine. "I don't need you to submit to me. All I need to do is make sure you stay with me forever. With time you will accept that you and I are meant to be. We're soulmates."

I slapped him harshly when he least expected it. His men immediately reacted by pointing their guns at me Kimura smirked and raised a hand to stop them. He stood and stepped away from me.

"Get her on the chair," he ordered his men.

Immediately, all four of them grabbed me from the floor on which I was sitting. Of course I fought back viscously; violently hitting and scratching each of them on their faces, enough to have them bleeding. It kept them away and they staggered backwards, groaning in pain and covering their faces.

"You're such a wildcat," Kimura sighed from his corner.

I stood immediately, ready to fight anybody who came anywhere close to me. I couldn't care less about their guns. I would rather die anyway.

Kimura approached me again and I immediately attacked. It angered me greatly how easily he blocked my attacks. In the very next moment, he'd neutralized me by trapping both my wrists with a single hand of his. He aggressively pulled me to him and when my body hit his, he gripped a fist full of my hair with his other hand and pulled my head back so I was greatly weakened. It hurt and I let out a scream of furor and frustration. His strength was something I could unfortunately not compete with on my own and it was driving me crazy.

Kimura looked at me with warm eyes and proceeded to kiss the center of my exposed neck. Then his nose roamed all over my neck and he deeply inhaled my perfume and scent. Goosebumps covered my skin and I hated how helpless I felt. I hated it so much.

"I hate you," I muttered, literally shivering with anger.

"You don't mean that," he whispered in reply and raised his head to look me in the eyes. "We could do this all day, my love. Fight and struggle like this. But you know it's of no use,"

"Kill me, Kimura," I breathed. "KILL ME!" I screamed angrily.

"Do you not care about my heart??" he asked, looking genuinely surprised and saddened.

"FUCK YOU!"

His brows furrowed and he slowly pushed me back until the back of my knees hit the chair and I fell into it. Immediately, his men grabbed my wrists and trapped them with the chair's cuffs. Kimura stepped away and watched them proceed to bind my legs and my torso to the weird chair. It was a hard and big wooden chair, stuck to the ground and that wouldn't shake at all. Its belts were fastened all around my torso and arms that I could barely move.

"You can leave," Kimura told them once they were done.

They bowed to him and left the room one by one, closing the door behind them and leaving only Kimura and I in that room.

"How?" I asked, breathing heavily because of how angry I was. "What do you know about me, Toyokawa Kimura,"

"I know everything about you, Dalia Bellucci. Daughter of late Don Giancarlo Bellucci,"

I stared at him, wanting to know how he'd found out. Who had told him? Who had betrayed me?

"Who told you? How did you found out?" I asked him.

"I had a special Informant," he replied with a smile.

"Who is it?" I asked, voice low.

I refused to believe it was someone close to me. Eleanor? I hoped not. Zio? He would never do that. I refused to allow Kimura plant doubt in my mind.

"A ghost, Dalia," he laughed.

"A ghost?"

"Well, you turned them a ghost," he replied, sharing his head and crossing his heart.

It took me a short while as I thought hard. And then, a name crossed my mind and my brows furrowed in disbelief. I looked at Kimura with wide eyes.

"Toto, Dalia," Kimura proceeded to say the name that had crossed my mind.

"Toto??" I repeated the name in disbelief.

"Your dear cousin whom I'm certain you killed. There's no proof you did but it's pretty obvious isn't it?" he mused.

"Impossible. He died a long time ago! Even before I came to Japan," I stated.

Kimura sighed and went to the door. He opened it and ordered for one of his men to bring him a chair, which they immediately did. After the chair was brought, he closed the door and sat directly in front of me.

"Let me tell you the entire story. Are you ready? It's quite fascinating," he laughed.
