(Sorry I've had to edit this part already cause I wrote the alternate story for Tubbo and Tommy cause I'm stupid, sorry about that!)
(Another update, trigger warnings)
Guess who has been lured into the trap of doing an adoption story, me I guess. Anyway, I thought it would be interesting to see what an adoption story would be like with an autistic character. For those who don't know, I am autistic. I feel like I should probably put some basic character info here too.
Phil looks like how he does now, but like 10 years older. In this story, he is 40. He's also married to Kristen (who again is 10 years older than she is now). Techno (17) and Wilbur (15) are both adopted too. They were adopted at the same time, from the same children's home, and despite not being blood related, have always called themselves brothers. Both of them are still dealing with things from their childhoods, and that will be a part of the story too.
Tommy (11) and Tubbo (13) are step brothers. Tommy is autistic (and has quite high support needs) so Tubbo has always been like a parent to him. Their dad didn't try to help Tommy, and so it was all left to Tubbo. This has given the boys a very strong connection, but also a lot of anxiety about being away from each other.
Some general trigger warnings as I may forget to put them at the top of chapters:
-anxiety (might be panic attacks)
-drinking
-abuse
-neglect
-blood, bruises and a lot of bodily harm
-ableism
-yelling/shouting
-needles
-depression
-anger issues
-references to self harm
Others may come up, so please stay safe. This will be quite an angsty book, so if things can affect you, I'd recommend not reading it.
I don't want to say much more, because I don't want to ruin the story, but yea, I hope this is helpful. Also let me know anything you'd like to see in this story, I have some ideas already, but would love to know! I hope you enjoy.
