"You're only telling me now that you found a soulmate!!??" Jaehyuk was almost shouting, forgetting that they were in the cafeteria. Junkyu quickly shushed him off.

"Ssh! I wanted to say it to you before, but I had to be certain about something." He spoke.

"You could have told me a day after or two! But you literally kept it from me for weeks, hyung!" Jaehyuk sulked. He was making a scene out of it. Although it was quite adorable to see him pout, Junkyu laughed.

"Come on! You're the second one to know!" Junkyu consoled him.

"After your mom?"

"After Jihoonie, actually."

Jaehyuk pouted even more, "I thought I was the closest to you!"

"Relax! I told him because I needed confirmation." Junkyu said again.

"So? Am I not eligible enough for that?" Jaehyuk whined, "You know I know a loooot on this topic!"

"Yeah. But like, I wanted to hear from an experienced person. You haven't actually met yours, right?"

"Ouch!" Jaehyuk acted, "Why you gotta hurt me like that?"

Junkyu laughed at the younger's drama. He adored Jaehyuk for his simplicity.

"Anyway, now that you have found him... The... What is his name again?"

"Junghwan. So Junghwan." Junkyu smiled.

"Alright, Junghwan." Jaehyuk spoke, "Now that you met him, what are you gonna do next?"

"Do what?" Junkyu asked.

"I mean, don't you wanna be with him or like make him yours?"

"That's too far fetched!" Junkyu exclaimed, "Why thinking about that now?"

"Why not?" Jaehyuk raised up his hands, "Don't you like him already?"

"I do." Junkyu nodded, "I mean, I really like him a lot. I wanna be with him and protect him at any cost. But still, we just recently met."

"Hyung," Jaehyuk started, "Do you even know why you are given a 'soulmate' in this world?"

Junkyu shook his head, "Why?"

"That's because, among the 7 billion people in the world, he's supposed to be the most compatible with you. Like, you're not gonna like everything about him, neither would he. But you'll like him more than anyone would ever. So, I don't see why you're hesitant."

Junkyu sighed, "I'm not hesitant, Jaehyuk ah. I'm just taking my time. Besides, he's young. If he spends too much time in it, it's gonna harm him in many ways."

"So, what are you gonna do?" Jaehyuk asked again.

"I don't know. Maybe just be there for him, like someone he can trust and lean on. Then when the time comes, I'll ask him out."

Jaehyuk raised a brow, "I get your perspective. However," he scooted closer to Junkyu's ear, "He might not wanna take this much time."

Junkyu looked at Jaehyuk in ridicule for a while. Then stood up.

"Where are you going?" Jaehyuk asked.

"To pick Hwanie up from school. I promised to meet him there today."

Jaehyuk smirked, "I'll see how long you last. You're already quite whipped."

Junkyu didn't respond. He just chuckled in disbelief and walked out of his campus. He was going to meet his favourite boy after all!
