•~Michelle's P.O.V~•
Dad drove silently, his knuckles turning white as he gripped the sterling wheel. He wanted nothing more than to get court over with so that he could, hopefully, see Bob being put in handcuffs.

Dally was going to be there too, just in the spectator's section with my family and whoever in the gang came. Dally said that everyone would be there, even Darry if he got off of work, and Ponyboy said Johnny and him would testify. I told him that they didn't have to, especially since Johnny got real nervous when people were just staring at him but even Johnny said he wanted to.

"Just keep calm, tell the truth, and we'll be in and out of there." Mom told me, looking in the review mirror.

"I am calm." I lied. She gave me that look, the mom looks when they know you're lying.

"I told you we should've brought Dally with us, I don't know how he gets her to calm down but he does." Mom said to dad. I chuckled. I wasn't sure how Dally did it either.

"Well, he's right there." I looked up and saw we were at the courthouse. My heart sped up. What if I freaked out and had a panic attack in front of everyone when I was called to the stand? I took a deep breath and got out of the car. Dally smiled once he saw me.

"Your ready, doll?" I shrugged.

"As ready as I can be." He raised my chin with his finger and kissed my lips.

"The gangs coming, they were behind me when I was driving here." He lowered his hand. My breath hitched. If I was being honest, I didn't want them all to be here so they wouldn't have to hear all of the details. I don't know how I'd face them after they heard it.

"We'll be inside, sweetie." Mom looked up at Dally. "It's nice to see you again Dally and please try to calm her nerves." Mom smiled at him before walking inside with dad who uttered a simple good morning to Dally.

"Nerves?" Dally asked, chuckling a bit.

"I have no idea what she's talking about." He cocked an eyebrow. Goddamn, you Two-Bit.

"Really?" I nodded. "We both know you're lying." I rolled my eyes. Sometimes, I hated how he knew when I was lying. It'd be easier for him to believe I wasn't nervous than try to calm me down.

"I just..." I sighed. "I don't know if they're going to ask about all the details and if they do, I don't want the gang to hear them." Dally toyed with my hair for a moment.

"Well then, we'll be out of the room if they do ask." I grinned.

"Hey, guys." I turned my head as I heard Darry's voice. The whole gang was here.

We all exchanged a quick 'hello' before we walked inside the courthouse. It was pretty big and smelt very clean. I sat on a bench next to my parents as we waited for the case before us to finish. Dally sat beside me and the rest of the gang sat next to him.

"Just remember, don't look at him." I nodded and grabbed Dally's hand. He didn't pull away, which he might've done if we were just with the gang. I was glad he didn't though.
