The reason why Jungkook was working so hard these days because it is Taehyung's birthday next week. He wants to wrap up all his pending work so he can prepare a surprise for his omega.
He decided to make his birthday special. Before, he celebrate his birthday but this time is different. He and Tae were slowly moving forward. As promised, they never talked about their past since that night. He could feel that Tae was slowly trying to trust him again. That thought makes him happy and gives him the encouragement to keep going.
He wants to Taehyung the happiest on his special day. For that, he asked Jin and Jiwoo for help. The three of them happily agreed to keep the surprise secret.
On th day on his birthday, Tae woke up like usual. He was so worried about Jungkook's health that the fact that today was his birthday completely slipped off his mind. These days he is getting up early so that Jungkook can sleep a bit more.
Nowadays, he prepares breakfast and wakes up the alpha. On the first day, when he woke up Jungkook, he was shocked and asked him to sleep. He can prepare food everyday but Taehyung didn't listen to him.
He can see the eye bags that the alpha has from work tirelessly. He doesn't wants him to do housework too. That's why he took the duty on himself.
At the present day, Tae freshened up and opened the door of his room to go to the kitchen but he suddenly stopped flinching lightly because in front of him was a huge bouquet of red roses.
His eyes were wide and mouth open due to the shock. Tae rubbed his eyes to see if he was dreaming but no. The bouquet of 100 roses were real.
The alpha peeked behind the roses and showed his bunny teeth, smiling widely. The omega blinked looking at him. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" The alpha spoke.
The omega smiled widely with a prominent blush in his face. Jungkook extended the bouquet towards him which the omega held it somehow because it was so heavy. Jungkook held his camera and said "Tae"
The omega looked up and click. Jungkook clicked a picture of the Omega holding the bouquet while smiled to himself while looking at the photo.
"Hey I wasn't prepared" The omega exclaimed, now keeping the bouquet on the table.
The alpha looking up "You look beautiful anyways" That single compliment made Tae blush until his ears were red.
Before he could register, two party poppers were blown in the air, resulting in giggles and happy birthday song.
Tae smiled widely seeing his family. Daehyeon and Haneul were singing and giggling while playing with the confetti that fell on the ground because of the party poppers they blowed. Soohyun was beside them, singing happy birthday while hiding something behind her.
Jungkook ran to the kitchen and bought the cake and started singing together with them. The omega was smiling widely, that made every one of them present in the room happy.
The alpha walked close to Tae and gave him the cake "Happy Birthday Taehyung"
"Thank you Jungkook... Thank you everyone" Tae was so happy. He looked at the cake and smiled. It was his favorite cake, a strawberry one. He once again looked at the alpha and smiled.
