-- Kaika's P.O.V. --
I can't help but gasp and yell out Emiko's name as she faints. As much as I don't want them here, I'm glad Rin was here since he was able to catch her before she hit the ground. I can't help but beat myself up a bit. All I could do was stand there frozen in fear and yell as I watched her fall.
Rin looks at me worriedly, holding her in his arms: "Is she going to be okay?"
I shake my head snapping out of my thoughts: "Yeah, ever since we were kids she's had a habit of passing out when she's around too much excitement."
Sebastian walks over and glares: "Well are you just going to stand there and do nothing."
His tone gets me all flustered and nervous: "No... uh.. um..." I look around trying to keep calm enough to help Emiko. I turn to Rin: "Could you bring her upstairs and set her down in my bed?"
Rin nods at me and heads upstairs still carrying her. As he leaves I go into the bathroom and wet a rag. Once I finish, I go up to my room where Emiko was laid down and set the rag on her forehead.
-- Emiko's P.O.V. --
I wake up in Kaika's bed a bit confused. What happened? I blink a few times and scan the room seeing Kaika sitting on the bed next to me. It must've been a dream. I mean, fictional characters standing in front of me? It had to be a dream right? I let out a small laugh realizing how ridiculous I sounded. Hearing me laugh, Kaika looks at me with a worried expression.
Kaika: "Hey, are you alright? How're you feeling?"
She tilts her head with genuine concern and it makes me smile. She's always been so sweet and fragile, I'm usually the one taking care of her. I nod sitting up: "Yeah, I'm okay, how long was I out for?"
She smiles looking less concerned: "About two hours." She lowers her gaze, as if feeling guilty about something.
"I'm sorry", she says confirming my suspicion. "I should've told you, I just didn't know what to do, and I knew you'd tell me to be adventurous and keep them but I really just want to return them."
She speaks quickly and I furrow my brow in confusion. What is she talking about? I tilt my head and put my hand on her shoulder. "Kaika, is everything okay with you? What on earth are you apologizing for?"
Kaika opens her mouth to speak when there's a knock on her door and a man's voice follows.
???: "May I come in?"
I look at Kaika even more confused: "Who's that?"
Kaika: "Well..."
She looks as though she's about to throw up when the man walks in.
I look up to see who it is: "I-It can't be-"
It's Rin, as in Rin Matsuoka, fictional anime character. I blink a few times and then hold my head. "Kaika... did I hit my head when I fainted?" I ask her but she shakes her head in response.
Kaika: "I know it seems unrealistic... but it's actually him."
I reach my hand out to touch his arm. I guess this really isn't a dream.
"But how?" is all I manage to say at the moment.
Kaika: "It's a complicated story, let's get you something to eat and I'll explain it to you."
-- Third Person P.O.V. --
The three of them go downstairs and after repeating herself mulitple times, Kaika finally convinces Rin to give her and Emiko some alone time. She makes her some pork ramen and then sits down at the table across from her. Kaika starts from the beginning, explaining how she got a strange delivery much like the one Emiko had seen just hours before. She told her about the note, how she didn't believe this was real at first either, and how she'd plan to return the A.H.F.Cs monday after school.
