Chapter 16 - Rescue Mission

Hello once again Suka readers! I know it's been a long time but another chapter is here!

- Third Person P.O.V. -

Kaika sits on the edge of her bed and begins to open the envelop carefully. She begins to read it to herself.

Kaika... before I continue this letter... I want to give you my upmost apologies... I didn't want any of this to happen, that is why I tried to keep my distance from you...By the time you read this I will be gone, not only from the house but from this world. Once they realize I have told you the truth in this letter, they will, without a doubt, deactivate me and then take me apart and destory me. I will not leave with any regrets though I promise you, you deserve to know the truth now before you're forced to do anything. We are not what we seem. In fact, we were created by a science facility that is run by the government. The A.C.T.L company was just a cover up for what is really going on, and the company's real name is B.W.A. It stands for the Biological Weapons Agency.

Kaika looks up from the letter pausing for a moment: B.W.A..? That... sounds familiar... She thinks for a moment when an internal light bulb goes off. That's what was stamped on all the papers that came with the guys, but wait... what does... that mean? She turns her attention back to the letter and continues to read:

We were in fact called A.H.Ws which is an Artificially Humanized Weapon. I do not know the exact reasoning we were created for or the objective that the government and company wanted us to carry out in the end but I do know we have a large amount of power we haven't even begun to tap into. You have special blood running through your veins my dear Kaika, no matter what comes along your way do not forget that. Thank you for giving me a great time before I left. I am happy I was sent to you, and I am sorry that I must take my leave now, but I shall always carry you in my heart.

Sebastian~

Tears threatens to fall at first but Kaika quickly wipes her face and stands up tall with a determined expression. I'm not going to sit around sulking, I'm going to get him back before I lose him! She thinks ambitiously to herself.

Kaika hurridly walks to the extra room where Jushiro, Rin and Mori sleep, swinging the door open quickly and barging in.

Rin continues staring at a book, looking annoyed: "I know it's your house and all but haven't you ever heard of knocking?"

Jushiro runs towards her arms open wide: "Oh don't listen to him, you don't have to knock, you can come in whenever you want!"

Kaika furrows her brow: "Just shut up and listen to me, I need help, from all of you."

Jushiro stops in his tracks and they all look up at her surprised by the force behind her voice.

Rin closes his book: "Is everything alright?"

Jushiro tilts his head examining her: "You don't seem yourself."

Mori looks over her and simply nods in agreement.

Kaika tries her best to stay calm: "Sebastian's.... gone."

Rin looks at her confused: "What do you mean gone?"

Kaika clenches her fist and looks down: "He told me something he shouldn't have, and now I fear that he is going to be shut down."

Jushiro, Rin and Mori blink as they all look at Emiko with a blank stare unsure of what she's talking about.

???: "Beta1, Beta3, Beta4, you are commanded to disregard what you heard from the girl before you. Failure to comply with direct orders will result in one of the following; seizing, reprogramming, dismantlement, and/or execution. Repeat, you are commanded to disregard what you heard from the girl before you."

A loud beep rings through Jushiro, Rin, and Mori's heads before the voice is silenced. The trio stare blankly at Kaika, confused by what had just happened inside their heads. The exchange glances wondering if they all had heard the same thing. By the expression on their faces, they could assume they had.

Jushiro looks a bit worried: "I can't be taken away from my sweet Kaika." He makes a little puppy dog pout.

Rin looks both angry and confused: "What do we do?"

Mori shakes his head: "It's simple, we fight."

Rin and Jushiro look at Mori and then nod in agreement.

Kaika looks at them with hopeful eyes: "Will you really help me?"

Rin smirks and slings an arm around her: "Of course, that's what friends are for remember?"

Kaika hugs Rin: "Oh, thank you!"

Rin rolls his eyes annoyed but smiles slightly: "Yeah yeah yeah, just get off of me, we have somewhere to be."

Kaika releases him and then looks up at the three guys: "But wait... where so we start?"

Mori: "Leave that to me." He closes his eyes and starts to scan files inside his brain, tracing things about where they came from, and where the company might have taken Sebastian. He hacks into his own brain system, doing a reverse research and getting into the company's computer network. After scanning for several minutes, he opens his eyes. "Got it."

Jushiro looks at him: "Got what?"

Mori: "Sebastian's location."

Rin smiles patting Mori on the shoulder: "You may not talk much but you're one hell of a computer nerd."

Mori: "Hmm."

Kaika: "Where is he?"

Mori: "The new A.C.T.L. building that they built downtown."

Kaika nods: "I should have assumed so."

Rin: "Well then, let's go get Sebastian back."

Jushiro pouts again looking at Kaika: "Do we really have to?"

Rin punches him on the head: "Don't be stupid, let's go."

Emiko walks in as everyone races out the door. Kaika grabs her arm and drags her following after the three guys.

Emiko struggles for a moment to keep up: "Where are we going? What is going on?"

Kaika looks over her shoulder back at her: "We're going on a rescue mission."

Emiko shakes her head and sweatdrops thinking to herself. So this is what happens when she decides to become more outgoing. Oy vey...

That ends another chapter! Sorry for the short chapter right after a long break. *Frowns and bows repeatedly* Please forgive me!
