"Hello? Hello!"

Arriving at my first night shift I couldn't help but feel uneasy. I had been working at Freddy's for a few weeks but all the employees told me to stay away from the night shift as much as possible. I knew it had something to do with the animatronics, but Fritz said not to worry because someone would guide me on what to do. I knew someone had recorded calls, but I had never met the person. Maybe it won't be so bad. I thought, as I approached the office.

It had just turned 12 AM, and I heard the phone ring. I picked up and a male voice had answered on the other line.

"Hello? Hello, hello? Uhh, I wanted to record a message for you... to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually worked in that office before you. I'm... finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact, so... I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I'm here to tell you: there's nothing to worry about. Uh, you'll do fine! So... let's just focus on getting you through your first week. Okay?"

"Okay..." I answered but I realized he couldn't hear me, I sighed in response. But the man seemed to stop talking, as if he were surprised.

"You actually answered the call?" I sprang up from my slouching position and I was shocked he could hear me.

"Yeah? Doesn't everyone?"

"No...I usually get sent to voicemail." I couldn't help but feel slightly bad for the man, he was just trying to help.

"I'm surprised you answered me! I thought these were recorded messages." I said trying to change the topic.

"Well, yeah. They mostly are. But on the first night I usually just call the night guards. But now that I know you answered, I'll be sure to call every night!" He seemed genuinely happy and I couldn't help but put a smile on my face.

"Sounds good!" He then continued to talk about what to do, and how the animatronics move at night. I couldn't help but feel frightened at the fact that the animatronics wanted to stuff me in a suit. When he finished explaining it was around 4 AM. Wow he certainly loves talking!

"Also, the boss wants me to come in tomorrow with you for your night shift. Just to help you settle in." I was curious why he hadn't done that tonight, but I shrugged it off.

"I'm relieved to hear that, this place gives me the creeps!" I sighed in relief and he gave me a chuckle.

"Don't worry I have a lot of experience. I should let you focus on the cams now, they usually start to get active around this time..." we said our goodbyes and then hung up. I was actually really excited to see the phone guy, he seemed like a nice person and I didn't want to work the shift alone.

Throughout the night, Bonnie was moving and at one point he went face to face with me, I quickly put on the mask that phone guy told me about and he vanished within seconds. I couldn't wait to not work this shift alone. It was creepy.

The bell had rung and I jumped up for joy as I ran out of that place. I decided to go home and sleep so I could prepare for my shift tonight. After all, phone guy said it gets harder every night.
