It's been a few weeks since Scott has last been in the hospital. Each day he seems to becoming more normal but that weird ominous voice still takes over every once in a while.
I've tried to ask Scott about it but he keeps pushing me away. He told me he didn't want to involve me and I just gave up knowing that he wouldn't give in.
Since then, Scott and I have been looking for new jobs. There is another Freddy's opening up and we considered working there, but the day shift. We both had interviews tomorrow but we decided to relax and enjoy the time we have together today.
Vincent visits occasionally, mainly to stop by and inject Scott with some weird liquid. Again, I tried asking but it was pointless. Vincent had came by today but left shortly after. He too, had been acting weird since Scott's incident.
Scott and I also decided it would be easily for our wallets if we just bought an apartment together. Of course, Freddy's doesn't pay well so we had to split the rent but I didn't mind. Especially if Scott was my roommate.
As I was eating my breakfast in the kitchen I heard the door open and saw Scott standing there. Except, what he was holding made me blush madly.
"Uh, h-hey Y/N...I got these for you!" Scott tensed up as he handed me a bouquet of roses. It was so sweet to see him do something like this for me. Even if we weren't together, yet.
"Aw, thanks Scotty! I love them!" With excitement, I leaned over and gave Scott a quick peck on the cheek. He didn't have his mask on so that made it easier for me. Especially since I got to see how flustered he was after the kiss.
Scott remained still as he smiled like an idiot and watched me put the roses in a vase. I glanced over at him and chuckled. So cute.
"S-so, um, there's this restaurant nearby and I was wondering if you maybe...wanted to go with me?" Scott rubbed his neck awkwardly. It was a little strange seeing him this nervous. We did go on a coffee date a little while ago. Why was he so on edge?
"Yeah, of course. When did you want to go?"
"6 PM?" Scott offered.
"Sounds good. Should I dress up?" I was trying to figure out if this place was fancy or not.
"Um, yeah. But you'd look pretty in anything..." Scott mumbled. Oh my god, he was being so cute I could pass out. Keeping that idiotic grin on my face, I looked back at him lovingly.
"Thanks, Scotty. I'll be ready for 6." With that, I walked out the door Scott previously entered in, but not before giving him another peck on the cheek. The last thing I saw was Scott rubbing the place where I kissed him.

It was nearing 6 PM, as I stressed out on what to wear. I was deciding on whether or not to wear the black dress or the red one. I didn't really have anything to match with my red dress, so I finally decided to put the black one on.
It was tight fitting and showed off my curves. It fell around my mid thighs and showed off my collar bone. I let my hair loose and I put on a bit of mascara. I never was one for makeup anyway.
As I walked into the hallway I saw Scott in a white dress shirt with a tie. He had black dress pants on and his hair was neatly kept instead of its usual messiness.
"You ready to go, Scott?"
No response.
"Uh, Scott?"
Silence.
"Um, do I need to call Vincent?" I shivered slightly. Scott seemed to snap out of his trance as blush slowly crept onto his face.
"N-no. You just look beautiful." Scott sighed. My cheeks heated up. I had no idea he was such a sweetheart!
"Thank you. You look quite handsome yourself." Scott grinned as he grabbed onto my hand and pulled me along with him.
Our fingers intertwined, the two of us headed out the door and went towards the fancy restaurant. I was a little nervous about going out in public with Scott, in case he had one of those meltdowns again. But Scott reassured me when he told me that Vincent came by earlier and gave his his shot.
I just hoped this date would be normal.
..
.
But nothing ever normal when you get involved with Freddy's.
