It was now nearing 4 AM. Scott and I hadn't said much to each other the whole night. His focus seemed to be elsewhere, I would try and start conversation with him, but he seemed too nervous to keep it going. The only time he'd speak up was when a animatronic was near. I was honestly excited for this night to be over with. Scott was acting very strange.

"Y/N, Chica is coming on the right." He stated in a panicked tone. Although, I don't think he was worried about the animatronics.

I rushed to the right door and flashed the lights. My eyes were met with Chica staring me down and I quickly shut the door. My breathing fastened, I was not expecting her to be right there and I was slightly startled.

I flashed the lights a few moments later and Chica had left. I sighed in relief and looked over at Scott. What was strange was that he seemed to already be looking at me. His gaze shifted back to the cams when our eyes met, but I shook it off and focused back on the doors.

"Hey Y/N..." Scott spoke up hesitantly. I was shocked he had said something besides warning me. The whole night he was silent, I gratefully answered him.

"Yeah?"

"Did you meet Vincent tonight?" I have to admit, his acting was pretty good and I never would've known he was stalking the conversation if Vincent hadn't said anything, but I decided to play along.

"Yes, why?" He seemed to have stiffened his body and took a moment before answering me.

"What'd he say to you?" Why was he asking me this if he already know the answer? Maybe the cams don't have speakers. I assumed he was unable to hear our conversation but something told me he was.

"A lot of things...he mentioned you." I felt awkward talking about it just like him.

"He said something about how I only come for night 1/2, right?" I nodded my head and Scott let out a sigh.

"Yeah that's true. I am only required to come for those nights." He seemed like he wanted to say more but he finished his sentence there. He awaited for me to speak up.

"So why did you come back?" Scott looked down at the floor and he seemed very uncomfortable. I felt bad and I decided to let him relax.

"You don't have to answer, I don't mind. Im glad you came back, though." I said with a grin on my face. Scott looked up from the floor and his body relaxed again. I was hoping he would finally switch back to normal. I missed talking to him.

The bell rang and it was 6 AM. Scott stood up from the chair and walked over to me. I paused trying to figure out his intentions, his body was inches away from mine. I could tell he wanted to do something, but refused.

"Um, do you wanna watch Vlad and Clara again?"  I forgot he asked to watch it with me earlier, but we never planned a day.

"Yep! I'm ready whenever you are." I answered cheerfully. Scott walked out the door and I followed behind him. As we approached the exit Scott and I were met by none other than, Vincent. He gave us a evil grin.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" He chuckled. Scott moved towards me and it seemed as if he were almost trying to protect me? His body grazed against mine as were less than inch apart from each other. He stood a few inches in front of me, and his posture straightened.

"What do you want, Vincent?" He asked in a more demanding tone. I have never seen the unfriendly side of Scott, and I was kind of excited to see what was going to happen.

"I was just starting my shift. No need to be all protective, Scotty-boy." He chuckled yet again and Scott let out an annoyed groan.

"Scott let's just go." I said trying to escape this awkward situation. Scott seemed on board with this and we were about to walk to the door when Vincent stood in front of the exit and stopped us.

"Seriously? What now?" I said annoyed.

"Where are you two off to?" Vincent asked.

"We're just going to my place." Scott answered in frustration.

"And I don't get an invite?" Vincent asked faking his sadness.

"Why would I invite you?" Scott asked.

"Because you invited, Y/N. I thought you would invite all your co-workers, hm? Y/N must be special." I cringed at what Vincent was saying. I just wanted to get out of this awkward conversation.

"Vincent, you didn't get invited cause your a pest." He spat out the last word in a cranky tone.

"Didn't deny what I said..." he was getting on my nerves.

Vincent finally stepped out of the exits way, and we walked out the door. As we were closing the door Vincent managed to slip one more thing out of his mouth.

"Don't go too crazy, lovebirds~"
