When I woke up I had briefly forgotten I was in Scott's house as I made my way to the bathroom with just a towel wrapped around me. Scott had told me last night it would be okay if I showered at his house so that was what I was going to do, but as soon as I opened the door to the hallway I immediately regretted it.

There, stood Scott, mouth open with a plate of breakfast in his hands. His face was as red as a tomato as he looked me up and down. I blushed in embarrassment and adjusted the towel to cover up as much as possible.

"Ah! Sorry Scott! I was going to shower..." I waited for Scott's response but didn't receive one. I took that as my que to leave as I booked it for the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind me. I could've sworn I hadn't heard Scott leave, but I hopped in the shower and tried to think of something else.

Once I left the shower, I made sure I was dressed this time. Wearing one of Scott's hoodies that he leant me and my pants from yesterday. I was still feeling awkward about the situation, but I finally built up the courage to go downstairs and eat breakfast, hoping to avoid the awkward conversation with Scott.

As Scott noticed me walk downstairs, he tensed up again. I also noticed his cheeks reddened and he immediately took eye contact off me. I tried to shake it off but I couldn't help but feel just as awkward as he did.

"Hey, Scott." I sat down at the counter and nervously reached out for a piece of bacon.

"H-hey. Um, I made breakfast..." Scott was going to continue but noticed I was already helping myself to the bacon and smiled. The tenseness being shortly lifted from his shoulders, made me sigh in relief.

"How did you sleep..?" Scott broke the silence.

"Good, how'd you sleep? You were up pretty early..." I stopped myself before I brought up any more awkward moments from earlier.

"Oh, yeah, sorry about that...I didn't realize you were showering." Scott rubbed his hands with the back of his neck.

"It's my fault, I didn't tell you." I chuckled and Scott resumed to eating again.

"What shift do you have today?"

"The boss didn't put me on anything today. He said Vincent was covering me, for some odd reason..." Scott's voice trailed off.

"Why would Vincent do that?" I questioned, taking another jab at the bacon.

"We are actually friends, we just, uh, bicker a lot." Scott laughed lightly.

"Really? How are you two friends? He's so rude and you're like the opposite!" Scott blushed for a minute before sighing and gathering himself.

"Vincent and I have been working together for a while, it was only a matter of time before he started annoying me." Scott mumbled. I giggled at the last part.

"Annoying sounds about right." The two of us broke into a short laughter before we continued to eat.

As we ate in a short silence, I let something blurt out of my mouth that I immediately regret.

"You really do look better without your mask." Scott quickly looked up at me and blushed frantically. I panicked and did the same.

"T-thanks." He stuttered in response. I mentally slapped myself in the head as I realized what I just said.

"Sorry that slipped." I chuckled awkwardly.

"I hope it slips out more." Scott muttered, barely loud enough for me to hear.

"What?" I asked, even though I already knew what he said.

"Nothing." He sighed in response.

"My hoodie looks good on you." Scott smirked. I smiled back.

"Yeah, I think I might keep it." I teased.

"You should, I like seeing you in my clothes." Scott jumped realizing what he had just done.

"Um, I didn't mean it like that-" I giggled before Scott could finish.

"It's alright, Scotty. I'm definitely keeping it now, though." I chuckled and Scott let out a sigh of relief. This morning really has been awkward...

"Ha, good." Scott spat out quietly.
