chapter 5

Warning: start of chapter has jumping off a cliff

They arrived on the mountain and the examiner menchi was explaining why they were there. Aki however wasn't really paying attention and instead was focusing on the fact that they were really tired. It wasn't exhaustion or anything like that. They had just been hit with the urge to sleep.

They payed attention again at just the right time. Menchi had jumped over the edge of the cliff and grabbed onto a web. This gave Aki a couple of seconds to come to their senses. They had to get an egg from down there but survive to pass.

A gust of wind brushed against everyones faces and soon enough menchi landed right where she jumped.

She started to explain further but gon and killua had already jumped and everyone followed apart from those who were scared.

'Let's give everyone a scare' Aki thought whilst falling off the cliff with their arms to their widest point and their eyes closed.

"Are they committing suicide?" Some people questioned.

There is was.

Aki opened their eyes and using their nen ability they flew back up with an egg.

Some dumb people copied Aki thinking they would also fly up but of course they didn't.

Akis egg had just finished cooking in time. They had a snack to watch the show of events. The web had started to break. But there was still no sign of an updraft. Even menchi looked intrigued. People were growing scared and dropped to their deaths. Gon seemed to be the one in control. The faint noise of a shout was heard and without a doubt it was gon.
"Now!" People dropped down grabbed an egg and flew back up. Wow gons smarter than he looks.

They all spent the time boiling their eggs and had faces of pure bliss at the taste. They must have been questioning why they hadn't tried these before.

"Well you all pass!" Menchi said gesturing toward the people eating eggs, "and you fail good luck getting back!" She pointed towards those who didn't jump.

Everyone else boarded the airship and awaited the journey to phase 3. This is gonna be a long journey.

They were allowed to roam the ship as they please so Aki wondered to find a room to sleep.

At the end of the long corridor there was a room, it was dimly lit and seemingly empty. Aki opened the door to find hisoka and the purple guy who saved them. What was his name? Gitter? Guitar? Guitar cracker? Gitturakur! "Sorry, I didn't know there was people here"

"Hmn~ stay, aki~" hisoka moaned out.
"If your here no thanks" Aki replied
"Why don't you stay?" Gitturakur said calmly.

And thats how Aki was guilt tripped into being in hisokas room. They did sleep for a while and when they woke up gitturakur was gone. There was someone else though. He had long, silky black hair and wore a green outfit with pins. Wait! That's what gitturakur wore?

"Maybe I'm just tired but why does gitturakur look different? " Aki asked while rubbing their eyes.
"Hmn~" hisoka chuckled, "it's called a disguise darling~" he finished.

"I'm done with you" just like that Aki left.

As they walked they came across the chairman and the zoldyk boy with the black haired kid.

'What's going on here?' Aki thought.

A/n : so how do you like the rewrites so far? Also this part is pretty boring but oh well. And I'll try and write the next part quicker as it's going to be the ball game bc I want to start to strengthen akis relationships with killua and gon. Mostly killua because of his family though.
