After she woke up, the butler - who they now knew as canary - lead them down the long path to the butlers quarters.

The small group followed her obediently, afraid what would happen if they didn't. Aki walked alongside them a small smile on her face showing how proud she was of their progress.

(Timeskip to when they have Killua back because i wasnt that interested on this part of the anime even though I've seen hxh like 3 times)

The group of 5 walked away from the Zoldyck estate and exited Kukuroo mountain. They were all relieved they had Killua back now. Leorio and Kurapika had to go off on their own to follow their chosen career paths but you all agreed to meet up in York new city on September 1st.

This just left Aki, Gon and Killua.

"So what you guys doing now?" she asked the two younger boys who seemed to be lost in their own world.

"We need money and to get stronger so I was thinking we could go to heavens arena" Killua suggested to Gon even though he doubted the black haired male knew what that was.

"Cool can I tag along I've got nothing better to do" Aki asks him.

Killua just nods and pulls out his phone booking 3 tickets for the next airship to wherever heavens arena was. Unlike Gon, Aki knew about heavens arena she just never competed because she didn't see the point. She could do with some extra cash though.

They all made their way to the airport with gon and Killua chatting amongst themselves and Aki chiming in where she seemed fit.

On the airship, she was still keeping to herself while the others went around to explore. It was quite strange to her how she was only 2 years older than them yet they were still able to act so childish while she felt the need to take on a protective almost leadership role over them all. Maybe it was her having a superiority complex but she couldn't help feeling the need to take charge over them.

A/N : super short filler chapter 🥲

I'm taking this book off hold however updates will be infrequent and chapter lengths will differ greatly. I have written this chapter to just ease myself back into writing for hxh and I promise things will start getting better. Aki's lore will develop as she enters heavens arena and she will find out more about her goal of finding her dad. She will also learn that her goal isn't that unique as a certain black haired kid also shares this goal.
