I am so sorry for keeping you people waiting. I didn't even realize that's it's been that long since I last added a chapter. Again, my apologies.
Castiana woke up to a pounding headache and a body that felt like it was filled with lead. She groaned.
"You're finally up" her head snapped to the voice, and she immediaely regretted it when her neck twisted.
Percy reached out and carefully lifted her head and fluffed her pillow, helping her up in a comfortable seating position.
"Gave us a scare there Cas" she smiled slightly at Grover.
"Sorry, though it wasn't my fault" Percy bent down next to her bed and looked her in the eye.
"What happened out there Ti?" She returned his stare but said nothing. She knew she couldn't tell him because then it would lead to more questions, which would lead them to the finally answer of who she was. She didn't want that happening, so she shrugged.
"I don't know. At one point, I'm trudging through the forest fuming, next I'm knocked out cold" Both looked at her skeptically, especially Grover. If it had been in front of any other tree, then maybe he would believe that, but the odds were too slim.
"So, you're saying that someone attacked you or something?" Grover asked. Castiana quickly shook her head.
"I probably just tripped or something" the boys raised an eyebrow in sync. It was almost freaky.
"You tripped?" they asked in unison. They glanced at each other, but instantly turned back to her. She shrugged.
"Or something" she added.
They stared at her for a few minutes until Grover threw his hands up in defeat and left the room. An uncomfortable silence passed through the rest of the occupants in the room due to Percy still staring and Castiana desperately trying to match his stare. He too sighed after a moment and sat on the bed next to her.
"Remember what I said about trust and letting me in?" she sighed exasperatedly like a child tired of hearing the same lecture over and over. His lips twitched, but he held his stare. She did the same. He sighed and suddenly looked down. "You had no pulse" he whispered, almost so quiet that she didn't hear.
"Oh" was all she could say. It made sense since she wasn't exactly occupying her body at the moment.
" 'Oh' " he scoffed. "I thought you were dead, yet all you can say is 'oh' " His mocking tone of voice ground on her nerves, and she glared at him.
"What do you want me to say?" He insensitive question caused him to hop to his feet abruptly and spin around to her.
" 'What do I want you to say?' How about why the hell you were passed out there in the first place! And don't give me some crap answer like you tripped because we both know that's a damn lie." he was fuming, and Castiana was doing her best not to look at him like a deer in headlights, but he guessed she wasn't doing a very good job because he took one look at her face and took a deep breath and combed his fingers through his hair. "I didn't mean to yell, but...." he sighed and sat back down and took one of her hands into his. Castiana was too stunned to do anything. "It wasn't fun thinking someone you cared about was dead-"
"Someone you care about?" she repeated him. He heard the shock in her voice and looked at her in disbelief.
"You still don't get it? How thick are you?" she shot him a look to which he grinned at "I told you that I want you to trust me, i've kissed you-" she shrugged
"People kiss without feelings all the time. That doesn't mean anything" The slight smile he had on his face turned into a frown as he looked into her eyes seriously.
"So the kiss meant nothing to you?" The question made her uncomfortable, and she took her hands from him, and this time, she couldn't look in his eyes. Percy held her chin and turned her face back to his. "Answer the question Castiana" Her name again. He was serious. What should she do? What should she say-her thoughts were cut off by a pair of lips on hers. She moaned at the unexpected contact but didn't object. The passionate kiss eased the pain of her stiff body.
Percy scoot up higher on the bed, almost on top of her and kissed her deeply. His hands wandered and gripped her hips where her shirt had ridden up, and Castiana gasped at the electric contact. He slipped his tongue in and groaned into her hot mouth. He pulled back quickly, their mouth making a pop noise, and looked her in the eyes. They both were panting and Castiana swallowed thickly. Percy smiled and pecked her lips again.
"I'll take that as my answer for now. You get some sleep. We're having a feast to celebrate the tournament tonight- we won by the way- and you can't attend unless your body is up for it" Castiana grunted, but obeyed and fell asleep to the feeling of soft lips on hers.
