Yo peeps! So here's another update ENJOY!
Percy watched as Castiana slept. As she breathed in and out. He knew he should stop. That if she were to wake up right now, she would think he were creepy, but he couldn't bring himself to do so. This was an once in a lifetime oppurtunity. From the little they spent together, he could tell that she kept to herself, he knew it would take awhile to open her up.
The door opened and his gaze snapped to it. In walked Grover along with Mr. Chiron. They took one look at Castiana, then looked at him.
"She fell asleep" he stated the obvious. Chiron nodded and pulled a chair up to the bed.
"So you said you found her curled up in the bathroom?" he asked. Percy nodded.
"With earphones in her ears" Grover added. They sat- or stood- in silence, watching Castiana sleep, but while the other two were in their own thoughts, Percy took the time to continue to admire the girl.
"Did you know Castiana was a demigod Mr. Chiron?" This got Percy's attention.
'Did he? Then why didn't he make her come with us in the first place?,' but Chiron shook his head.
"No, I did not. It seems she knows how to cloak it."
"You can do that?" Percy asked. He nodded.
"By surrounding yourself with certain people until you are claimed. After that, it's impossible to hide your lineage, but...." he trailed off.
"But what?" Percy asked impatiently.
"I think...I think someone taught Castiana to cloak herself without surrounding herself with people. A normal inexperienced demigod wouldn't know how."
"How do you know she was taught?" Percy asked. Chiron nodded his chin towards the violet eyed girl.
"Even now that you know who she is, can you sense that she is not fully human?" Percy didn't even try, knowing he wouldn't know the difference anyway, seeing as that it wasn't just Castiana he couldn't sense, it was all demigods and creatures alike, but by the way Grover nodded, he agreed with what Chiron was hinting at.
"She still smells human." Chiron nodded.
"The only way to indicate she is not is by her eyes, but those can be easily covered by contacts."
"So from who?" Grover asked.
"That just it, isn't it? Who taught her?" They thought about that question
"Her mom?" Grover offered. Chiron shook his head.
"She wouldn't know what to teach."
"Well it can't be her father," Percy interjected "since there's a stupid law made to keep Gods from their children."
"So there's someone else" Chiron nodded.
"We could ask her, but...."Percy trailed off.
"She probably won't answer" Grover finished for him. Chiron's eyebrows furrowed.
"Why not?" Both boys shrugged. Chiron found this worrying and for multiple reasons.
"Maybe her mother would know?" Chiron supplied. Percy nervously scratched his neck.
"Don't think that'll work either" Chiron sighed.
"And why do you think that?"
"We were talking before she fell asleep"
"What were you talking about?" the centaur asked.
"She said that she was all alone."
"So she's most likely dead?" Percy flinched and nodded solemnly, knowing how losing a mother feels. Chiron nodded thoughtfully, then slapped both hands on his chair and stood up, horse legs now back in view. "Well that doesn't mean we still can't try to ask her. Any information helps because we have mostly nothing." Then he galloped out the door.
Even after the former teacher left, both boys said nothing. Percy watched Castiana, and Grover watched Percy as he watched Castiana.
"So what happened after you left to find Castiana?" the satyr suddenly blurted out. The blue eyed boy instantly turned red and avoided eye contact. Grover smirked.
'Something definitely happened.' he thought.
"Come on Percy, spill." he coaxed.
"We," he cleared his throat, feeling uncomfortable "we, uh, we..." he really didn't want to talk about this. Grover made impatient hand motions for him to continue.
"You what? You made out?" He was only kidding when he said that, but by the way Percy refused to look up, it made his eyes go wide and a grin break out on his face. "OH MY GODS! YOU-!"
"Shhh" Percy hushed him. "Shut up before you wake her." Grover put a disbelieving hand over his mouth, eyes still wide. He looked back and forth between Castiana and his best friend.
"Y-You two..." he left the space open for Percy to fill. Percy rubbed his neck.
"Not exactly" The sparkle in Grover's eyes went dull and his hands fell to his sides like a sack of potatoes. He gave Percy a dull and disappointed look.
"Then what the hell are you all flustered for?" Percy sighed.
"We might no have kissed but we kind of....."Getting impatient, Grover through his hands up in the air.
"What?! You what? Looked into each other's eyes and told each other how pretty your eyes are?"
"No, w-we petted" Grover stopped talking and blinked at Percy.
"Petted? What do you mean?" Percy groaned in embarrassment and frustration with his best friend, who always needed the details to the very last strip. It was like having a girl friend instead of a guy friend.
"I mean" he pat his chest down as if searching himself for any dangerous weapons. Once again, Grover's eyes went wide.
"What the hell! You two didn't kiss but you felt each other up?"
"Weeeell" This time Grover smacked his forehead in frustration.
"Dude, say it straight. What the hell did you two do?" Percy sighed in defeat.
"I kissed and licked her neck while she grinded on me."
The room was completely silent.
"........Damn" he said after a moment " You two were getting hot and heavy huh?" Again, Percy groaned in embarrassment.
"Grover. Shut. Up." Grover snickered at his best friend's misery.
"Was she good?" he added just to tease.
"I will never tell you anything ever again."
"Okay! Okay!"
The room again went into silence.
"Do you know what would be really funny?" Grover asked. Percy rolled his eyes.
"What?" he asked exasperatedly.
"If Castiana was awake and listened to our conversation." Percy eyes almost bulged out of his head in fear, making Grover burst out laughing.
"Dude, I'm just messing with you," and Percy sighed in relief.
Little did they know......she was awake.
So how do think I did here? I just wanted a filler really for this, so I had Grover's inquisitive self annoy and embarrass Percy.
