"You wanna bet on who'll win?" someone random person asked.

"Obviously Annabeth, the other one's a new comer. With Anna being the daughter of Athena, she has no chance." said another.

"I don't know, she seems promising" Castiana sighed and back stepped a swing at her face.

'How did I get into this in the first place?'

"Rise and shine trainee!" Castiana heard a masculine voice yell. She groaned but got up nonetheless. A blonde haired and pale blue eyed boy stood in front of her . "Hello, I'm Luke, son of Hermes, and I am your new trainer.

Castiana nodded.

"Castiana, undetermined" it was half truth, half lie. She wasn't claimed yet, and she wouldn't be surprised if it stayed that way. Her father wasn't exactly known for doing the right thing, but making sure everything went his way. He nodded with a grin.

"Well get changed into something comfortable 'cause we're going to have a long and hectic day." She nodded in understanding and stood there, waiting. An uncomfortable silence- or at least it was to her- adjoined the room.

"Are you going to leave?" she asked him. He leaned on the bedpost casually, a smirk on his face.

"Nah, I'm good" her jaw clenched, but she took a deep breath, calming herself so she wouldn't electrocute this jerk.

"Let me rephrase that," she pointed to the exit "get out" she glared at him. He chuckled but left. She rolled her eyes.

'The nerve of people, I swear'

After doing the usual necessities done in the morning and getting dressed, she headed out of the infirmary. Luke was leaning against the wall with his arms and ankles crossed, his cocky smirk still plastered on his face.

"Ready for a day of training?" he asked. She simply nodded, and they walked off towards where she thought would be the training grounds. They walked in silence, which she was grateful for, not only because she's sure she wouldn't appreciate whatever comes out of his mouth, but she could enjoy the scenery.

"You don't talk much, do you?" she internally sighed.

"No, not really"

"Well, I'm going to be your trainer, so we should get to know each other better, don't ya think?" she gave him a dull look and walked faster. Maybe if she had a sword to his throat, he would stop talking.

Finally after several more minutes of him trying to get to know her, they arrived to a open, grass area, and once again, Castiana internally groaned. There stood Percy along with Grover and Annabeth.

'By the Gods! So early in the morning, and I can already feel a headache coming on.'

She could tell that he was also a bit uncomfortable seeing her.
