Hey peeps, sorry for the delay! Forgive me, but school sucks, and I can't fail this year. Last year, I failed two classes and was in danger of being kicked out of school. ALL BECAUSE OF MY LAZINESS AND IGNORANCE!! I CAN'T FALL BEHIND!! I WILL GRADUATE WITH MY CLASS!! But so far everything is fine, and I'm averaging on B's, so I'm in the clear. Though last year really only happened because I underestimated the school since A's seemed to fall in my lap without me trying, and because I tried the same thing in this school, I failed two classes by a few points, luckily I can make it up. PLEASE WISH ME GOOD LUCK!
" You guys know what tomorrow is right?"
Castiana stopped midbite into her sandwich and looked up at Luke, who had a wide grin that said "I'm up to something", but then again when didn't he have that irritating grin on his face. Percy and Grover looked up at him as well. They were all outside in the dining section of the camp eating lunch, when Luke had decided to come over.
Castiana ignored him and went back to eating. If it was something Luke was excited about, it wasn't something she wanted to participate in. Percy looked at Grover, but he looked just as clueless.
"The Demigod games" Luke reminded him. Grover's eyes widened, and he took one last chunk out of his coke a cola can.
"Oh! right, completely forgot about that"
"What is it?" Percy asked
"It's a tournament where each cabin is a team, but you can make alliances and fight for the other's flag" a new voice cut in. All heads turned to Annabeth, who was glaring at Luke "Usually Athena and Hermes cabin teams up, but this year Hermes aligned with Ares" Luke shrugged, making her glare intensify
"So what side are we on? Seeing as both Ti and I don't really belong to a cabin" Castiana froze and stared at Percy as if he just smacked her.
'Don't put me in this' she thought, but didn't say out loud. Luke shrugged, grin now turning into a smirk.
"You can be on either side, but", he walked closer to them and threw his arms over their shoulders. Castiana leaned away as far as she could, as did Percy. "I would like if you guys joined us" Castiana watched as a bit of anxiousness flashed across Annabeth's face, but disappeared as if it wasn't there in the first place.
"Won't matter since Athena's cabin will win, as always" she retorted. Luke scoffed at her bluff.
"Whatever you say" she gave him one last dark look and left. Now that she was gone, Luke turned his attention to them, waiting for an answer. Percy glanced at her and she shrugged. Annabeth acted as if she had a chip on her shoulder all the time and Luke was a creep, neither one was appealing so it didn't really matter. Percy nodded at Luke, and he finally left with a satisfied look on his face.
"You aren't participating Grover?" Percy asked him. Grover shook his head.
"It's the demi games for a reason" Both demigods nodded in understanding. Grover stood up from his seat, stuffing the last of his meal in his mouth. "Well, I have things to do and not alot of time to do them, so I'll see you guys later." Castiana just nodded , while the boys gave their bro hug.
Now that he was gone, it was only the two of them left. Feeling uncharacteristically uncomfortably in the silence, she began to get up, but was instantly pulled back down in her seat. She tensed at the sparks and pulled her hand away. Percy sighed.
