To all of my readers from "Burning Flame~ Kuroko no Basket", I am sorry I have been so absent with it. but there are more ideas running for this story that I just want to get it out before writer's block pops its ugly head. Plus, remember when I said that I have trouble with keeping the character in character, well that's kind of a problem too, so I have to get the next chapter for that sorted out. Sorry. Also for "Copy That" everything that I'm thinking is kind of cliche, so I'm trying to make the story a bit more action packed to help out with that.....still trying.
Castiana felt like she was going to rip her hair out.
Why the hell was this happening?
Was it hormones?
This never happened before. There were tons of guys she thought were cute, but she didn't usually give a damn. It was like her body had a mine of its own. It felt like Percy had wrapped a rope around her torso and was pulling it closer and closer to him.
All of these thoughts ran through her head, but she kept her face neutral as she stared at the wall in front of her. She sighed and plopped down on the bed face first.
'If only mother was here, she would know what to do, what to say, and how to go about it.....but she's not'
She groaned and threw the pillow at the wall in frustration.
'Your son is annoying as hell Poseidon'
A chuckle rang in her head, and she shot straight up. After listening for it again and not getting anything, she laid back down in disappointment.
'You do know all this can be solved?' she blinked but didn't move in fear his voice would go away again.
"Poseidon?" she whispered. He chuckled again.
"It's been awhile Castiana" this time she did move and turned on her side to come face to face with her Uncle. A tear slid down her face when she saw his familiar blue eyes. He gave her a sad smile and wiped it away with his thumb. "Don't cry querida"
"Where have you been?" she asked. He sighed and sat down on the bed next to her.
"In Olympus"
"W-Why? Why haven't you visited me?" she didn't care that she sounded weak. Poseidon was like a father to her; she trusted him with her life. He sighed and got up, starting to pace and run his hands through his hair.
"Do you know who you're father is Castiana?" Castiana froze, not knowing how to respond. She didn't want to lie to him, but what would he do once he found out? What would he say? She looked from his eyes to the ground, not caring that now that she won't look him in the eye, he'll know she was lying.
"So you do" he said more than asked. She opened her mouth, then closed it, choosing to instead stay quiet. "Who? I've never once seen any powers that go to a specific God. You heal, but not like Apollo children, you have archery like Artemis, but that was because she taught you, you are not loving like Aphrodite children, or brawny like Ares' children," each time he went down a God, she felt like her heart would stop. Felt like the rubber band that held their relationship ws going to snap, and she wanted to grip it and hold it together, but she felt so hopeless.
