"So what yall like official now or something?" April asked as we sat at the bar of House of Cards. Tonight was the last night and it was my first day back and she was asking me hella questions even when I already told her over the course of days i was out.
"I dont know.. you know how i feel about relationships," i said taking a sip of my drink.
"I know but Hoseok is head over hills for you. Anyone can see that."
"So is tae for you,"
"We aren't talking about my taetae bear right now. We are talking about you."
"I think you guys are cute. I was like that when I first met yoongi. My guard was always up but he showed me that i could trust him. Now look at us we been together for almost two years now. I love that man to death and i know he feels the same way. Even though we constantly bicker. Its our love language," tiff added.
I guess they were right but in all honesty i was just scared to put a title on it. I felt like once a title was on something it got serious. With Reddy i felt like i was constantly walking on egg shells. I fuck up or say something wrong it was a heated argument. He was my first actual boyfriend.
"You better not be acting like this cuz that nigga reddy," april said rolling her eyes making a disgust face.
This hoe was inside my head.
"I am."
"Hoseok is nothing like reddy plus you were young and naïve when you meet him. Yall we're together for years. He literally brainwashed you," tiff said. April nodded agreeing.
I felt so embarrassed just talking about my past with him.
"I'll be back," i said getting up headed towards the employee restroom. Making it inside i silently started sobbing. I hated being so emotional.
Flashback
"You think im pretty?" I asked reddy as we were laid up in his room. "I think you are the most beautiful girl i have ever meet." He took a hit of his spliff he was currently smoking. I smiled at him. "Wanna hit this?" He asked gesturing it towards me. I never smoked before and i was curious to see why he smoked so much. Reaching for it i hit it and instantly started coughing. He laughed at me. "Nah,nah you doing it all wrong baby. You gotta do it like this. Watch me." I watched as he inhaled it and blew the thick smoke out his nose and mouth. I finally got the hang of it and soon enough was high as hell. I couldn't stop laughing. "Promise me youll never leave me ly." He suddenly said. I giggled. "Im being serious. I dont think i could live without you." He looked serious. "Okay okay I promise ill never leave you." I said looking back at him. "Good cuz if you leave me for someone id kill em." With that he kissed me.
End of flashback
Stepping out the bathroom i seen Hoseok and all the guys entering the club. I forgot tonight was the last night the club would be open and he mentioned they would be stopping by. I just think he wanted to keep an eye out on me though.
It started getting packed as the night progressed.
April and i did our last performance together and im not going to lie i knew i was going to miss our dances together. We would just have fun. She was the only reason i felt comfortable doing it.
Hoseok watched me the whole night from a distance.
In the back locker rooms we were all lit and popping bottles and throwing our money up in the air. April went to go grab tiff so we could celebrate it being our last night.
As i was changing out of my clothes i suddenly heard yelling and what sounded like shots being fired up front.
I knew i shouldve left out the back exit but I couldn't leave April behind and was worried about hoseok even though i knew he could handle his own.
I ran out the room quickly and as I expected it was masked men going around the club shooting up everything.
"April!!" I yelled getting low on the ground trying to find her.
Everyone was running everywhere screaming. I could barely see anything. Glass was flying everywhere.
Reaching the bar i slipped on the spilled alcohol and a piece of glass went through my knee and my palms got cut up landing on the floor.
I hissed in pain letting out a bloodcurdling scream.
"Lyric!!" I could hear what sounded like hoseok calling out for me. Looking from behind the bar on the ground i saw him frantically looking for me holding his gun in his hand.
I tried to yell but nothing came out. My ears were blocked from all the gunshots. Suddenly it came to an end and i could see the men running out.
Finally i slid slowly around from the bar trying to stand up.
Hoseok spotted me instantly running over to me.
"The glass..its in my knee. Hoseok it hurts," i cried holding my bleeding leg.
"Shh,its going to be alright. Just breathe," he held me up.
"I gotta find april. Where is she?" I started panicking crying even harder.
"Baby, baby listen to me you have to calm down. Shes alright. We have to get you out of here ,okay?" He picked me up bridal style. I knew i was losing alot of blood because I started slowly losing consciousness.
