Camilo scanned the black letters on his arms over and over again.

"Would you relax, Cami," he heard the hushed voice of Dolores, "You'll find them soon."

"Easy for you to say," Camilo rolled his eyes, "You and your soulmate are perfect together!"

"But for a long time we weren't. It's never easy finding your soulmate, but it'll be worth it." Dolores tried reassuring, placing a loving hand on her brother's shoulder.

Camilo sighed, resting his chin on the palm of their hand, "Yeah, yeah, I've heard it before."

With a roll of her eyes, Dolores lightly pushed Camilo before standing up and walking away, "Whatever. Mopey you is so moody."

Shapeshifting into his older sister, Camilo mocked her words, "MoPey yOu iS sO mOoDy."

Dolores sighed, "Just go get ready. You wanna look your best incase your 'soulmate' comes."

"Ha, ha," Camilo laughed, sarcasm dripping from his words, "Very funny."

In a far part of town, another family was getting ready for the Madrigal's party.

"Y/N, you almost ready?"

Y/N was sat on her bed, her eyes glued to the black words on her arm.

'We're soulmates,'

"Well obviously," Y/N mumbled, smiling at the words.

"Y/N?"

Y/N jumped up at the sound, sitting up straight at the sound of the door creaking open.

"Are you nearly ready, Y/N?"

"Mmm-hmm," Y/N hummed, nodding their head excitedly.

"Who knows, you might even meet your soulmate at the party tonight?"

Y/N's face lit up in excitement, before she shrugged, "Maybe."

"Come on, then. Let's get going,"

With a nod, Y/N jumped up from her bed.

"Dolores, where is your sibling?"

Dolores tilted her head to the side to hear clearer, "He's still in their room."

"Why?" Pepa asked, the stress forming a small cloud above her head.

Dolores shrugged, "Probably fixing his rauna to look like the prettiest girl at the party,"

Camilo stared at himself in the mirror, readjusting his rauna for probably the seventeenth time.

'Im gonna be the prettiest girl at the party!'

They kept thinking back to what Dolores said.

'What if I did meet my soulmate tonight?'

"Camilo," came a quiet voice, startling the shapeshifter, "Are you done looking at yourself?"

Camilo jumped at sound, his cheeks flushing in embarrassment, "Jeez, Dolores, can you not sneak up on me? A-and I wasn't just looking at myself,"

"Right..." Dolores mumbled, leaning against the doorframe, "so you're not worried about meeting your soulmate tonight?"

"N-no..."

Dolores fought back a laugh at her brother, "It's ok, Cami. Whether they come tonight or not, I'm sure they'll love you. Just don't stress about it right now."

Camilo huffed, holding his head in his hands, "Ugh... you're right..."

"Yes. Now get out there. Party's already begun."

Camilo followed their sister outside to the party. The party was lively, everyone laughing and chatting together.

Making his way through the crowd, Camilo found himself staring.

"Hey, Y/N!" Mirabel shouted over the loud music playing. Since Y/N had came, she and Miracle had become fast friends, the two dancing along to the music together, "I think I see my primo staring," she teased in a singsong voice, laughing at Y/N's flustered expression.

"Wh-what?" Y/N whipped her head around to see a curly haired boy with a bright blush on his cheeks.

"You should go talk to him!" Mirabel urged, a bright smile on her face.

Y/N felt their cheeks heat up at the idea.

Could they be her soulmate?

With a shove from Mirabel, Y/N found herself standing in front of the shapeshifting Madrigal.

Y/N cleared her throat, her heart racing.

"Care to dance, guapo?"

Camilo felt a tingling sensation on his arm at that question.

The letters on his arms.

This girl was his soulmate.

"We're soulmates," he whispered.

Y/N's eyes widened, "Wh-what?" she asked, making sure she heard them right.

"We're soulmates!" he blurted, smiling ear to ear.

Y/N's heart raced even quicker, bringing her arm up, closer to her eyes to see the once black words, now glowing gold.

"Holy crap!" she whispered, smiling up at Camilo.

With a sudden boost of confidence, Y/N threw her arms around Camilo's neck, wrapping him into a hug.

Camilo was shocked, but didn't hesitate to hug her back.

"We found each other,"

The two pulled away from each other, smiling wide at each other.

"S-sorry, that was cheesy," Camilo apologised.

"No! No, i-it's fine, it was cute,"

Camilo couldn't help but blush, rubbing the back of his neck, "Well, if we're soulmates... my name's Camilo,"

Y/N smiled, "I'm Y/N."
