Once Y/N got an idea, there was no getting her out of it.

So when they heard about other magical people like herself, they had to find them.

Despite everyone's protests, Y/N was determined to find Encanto.

To guide her, she had a couple people point her in a vague direction, and a few stories about the miracle that had created the town Encanto.

It had been days of endless walking, walking that Y/N swore would be worth it.

Beads of sweat drenched her face and clothes, her legs ached in agony as she climbed over rock after rock and tree. The forest trees were tall and thick, blocking the sunlight from Y/N's face, but that didn't stop the hot and sticky air from effecting Y/N.

Her breathing was heavy, when a beam of blinding sunlight seeped through the tall mountains.

"Holy..." she whispered, not nearly enough energy to produce full sentences.

She was met with the beautiful sight of the town of Encanto.

Of course, she didn't get to fully appreciate it, before her legs gave way and black spots crowded her vision as she fell to the ground.

'THUD,'

Dolores's ears perked up at the amplified sound.

"Camilo, we gotta go,"

The shapeshifter stared at her with confusion, "Wha- where? Why? What's going on, is everything ok?"

"I might need your help. Up to the mountains. I heard something." Dolores answered, quickening her pace to exit Casita, Camilo hurrying behind her.

"Heard what?"

Dolores squeaked, shrugging her shoulders, "I'm not sure yet. Guess we'll find out."

The two began their journey up toward the mountain, Dolores holding her hand over her ear to enhance the faint sound even more, preventing them from going in the wrong direction.

"How long is this going to take?" Camilo whined, struggling to keep up with his sister's pace.

"As long as it takes," Dolores mumbled, growing tired of Camilo's whingeing, "Someone could be in serious trouble, Camilo."

With a roll of his eyes, Camilo huffed, picking up the pace.

Eventually, the two arrived up at the mountains, frantically searching for anybody who needed help.

"Seriously?" Camilo groaned, receiving an eye roll from Dolores, "What did you even hear?"

"Shut up," she whispered, lifting her hand back up to her ear.
