It would be a total lie if yongsun will say moonbyul's disappearance didn't affect her mental health.
After Seulgi said moonbyul had left the country-- which they didn't precisely know where she had gone and most probably would never come back-- yongsun felt like she could just perish from this realm in an instant. She returned to hyejin and wheein's house, heart shattered and depressed, with her eyes red from too much crying. She doesn't even know how it became possible that she came back alive when all the time she was driving, she kept brushing the tears that kept trickling down her eyes. All she knows is that it hurts so bad she could feel herself breaking down.
Moonbyul's gone.
Moonbyul left.. and she will never gonna see her again.
Those words kept chiming in the back of her head and every time she thought of it, tears couldn't stop dropping. Hyejin and Wheein were there beside her all night, feeling sorry for her condition and telling her everything was going to be alright. They also tried to reach out to byul. Called her numerous times and sent her messages they could probably tell her inbox flared. But it seems the woman altered her number and deactivated all her social media accounts to avoid getting contacted. She really wasn't responding to them at all.
As for eric, he kept his promise and called yongsun days after the argument. The guy definitely handed her the divorce papers as they both settled it inside the courtroom. Their decisions were mutual and the judge didn't disapprove to any of the ex-couple's requests as they officially declared the two were now divorced after the signing of papers. That day, yongsun also figured out eric and his secretary had been having an affair for years. But what astounds her the most is the fact that she doesn't care about it. The thought of moonbyul hurts more than her ex-husband cheating.
They tried to uncover moonbyul's whereabouts and disclose possible leads that could take them to her. They had successfully contacted lisa and jennie, but unfortunately, they both told them that moonbyul didn't say which country she was going to live in. Lisa also said that her friend's decision was urgent, that she just woke up one day with a letter from her bestfriend saying she'd be gone for a while. Moonbyul didn't specify when she'd be back, but lisa knew it will take a while considering she sold her property in Seoul and promoted lisa to become the next CEO of her company.
After yongsun fetched her things out of Eric's house, she stayed at wheein and hyejin's place because, as per her friends, they said it would be better if they took care of her while she carries a baby on her stomach. For a moment, she hesitated to agree, thinking she had already become a burden in their lives and that her staying at their house for months would undoubtedly be difficult for her friends. She'd told them she'd stay at her parents' house for the time being, arguing that it wasn't Hyejin and Wheein's obligation to look after her. But when the morning came and it was the day she would pack her things and leave, that obviously didn't happen when hyejin bought a rope and tied yongsun on her bed, restricting the woman from leaving the house.
She can still hear hyejin's speech that morning.
"You will not leave this house and that's final. Maybe that kid has no father, but we are here and we're willing to be the child's parents. The more the merrier. Three mothers will surely make the other kids feel jealous. Now stay on the bed and we promise to make you happy throughout the nine months of your pregnancy."
That day, yongsun cried for hours, telling her friends how grateful she was for their sacrifices and love. She didn't leave their house either, and it's not like she could. Even if she wanted to, hyejin made sure that wasn't possible by hiding her clothes luggage.
