Death is inevitable.
It is a part of a person's life cycle.
Some might try to do the craziest things in this world to avoid it from happening even though it is truly impossible.
Fate already decided everyone's future. From the day you were born and from the moment you live, fate already decided your future. Death will surely knock on your door one day, say hello, tell you how great you are, and hold your hand to guide you to the afterlife. That's how life works. All you can do is accept it..
But yongsun can't.
Hyejin's words stabbed her heart to death she collapsed the second she understood what it meant. Her already wet and red eyes produced more tears as she panted intensely and shook her head rapidly. She felt like someone had just slapped her with a metal hand, but she felt the pain wasn't on her face, it was all in her heart.
Luna is her life. Luna is the only one she has. Luna is her definition of happiness. Now, knowing her daughter was gone, yongsun wishes she had been the one who died instead.
"YOU ARE LYING! ALL OF YOU ARE LYING! MY DAUGHTER CAN'T BE DEAD! SHE CAN'T BE D-DEAD!"
Yongsun mind was on haywire as she threw the glass across the room. It broke into thousands of sharp pieces, and her reaction was enough for the other three to be stunned. Though they were horrified at the loud breaking sound of the glass, they already expected yongsun to be out of control once she knew the bad news.
Wheein didn't wait to let things to get more out of hand as she walked towards yongsun and hug the latter. She was crying the same way as yongsun, sobbing their hearts out as they comforted each other through their warm embrace. Even if that child belongs to yongsun, wheein already envisioned the child's future together.. with them.
Now, that would be impossible to happen.
"W-Wheein.. please. T-Tell me she's home. P-Please.. I'm begging you.. please."
"I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry." All wheein could reply because truth to be told, she's hurting the same way as yongsun.
Hyejin remained seated but her head was down low. She was crying. Quiet sobs escaped her lips, as she bit her lips to refrain herself from making any noise. Watching yongsun breakdown and yell is much more painful than she ever imagined five months ago. She knew her friend would surely cry, but to be this broken, like she had already seen her child before and lived with her.. was much more heartbreaking to witness.
Eric remained motionless on his spot, but his fist was on the verge of striking the wall. This is the first time he saw his wife this devastated, and he's frustrated that he can't do anything to console her. He wanted to hug her, comfort her, and tell her everything would be okay. But he was afraid he would just make things worse. Yongsun hates him, yongsun loathes him by now. All he can do is look at her and pray to heaven that she will be alright.
That child may be from moonbyul but it doesn't mean it deserves to have a fate like that. That child is innocent. That child shouldn't be the one paying for the sin they committed. It deserves to live normally. But because life is unfair to some people, unfortunate things happen.
That day, yongsun's cry lasted for an hour.. and it just stopped when she fell asleep.

Yongsun was discharged from the hospital a month ago but it feels like we're still in there. We offered to take her into our house-- which she didn't oppose and gladly took the offer-- as she shut herself in her room.
