Riley's POV
In the night I kept waking up but I managed to get through the night and the storm was over now, I needed to head home by 10 a.m because my Dad wants me home.
I'm on my phone since I woke up before James, a couple minutes later he finally gets up.
"Good Morning." I say and he just yawns.
"Good Morning." He says
"I have to be home by 10 because that's when my dad wants me home."
"That's fine it's 8:30 now... Right?"
I check my phone."Yeah..."
••••When it was 9:45 I decided to leave since I had to walk.
"I can drive you, it's kind of wet from the storm." James says.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure."
••••When I got home my dad asked me how I was then I went up to my room, when I got up there I realized I forgot to ask James a question, but I was kind of trying to avoid it but I guess I could ask it over texting. I sit down on my bed pull out my phone and start texting.
R: I forgot to ask you this once question... After our "date" what is our relationship at....?
My thumb hovers over the send button but I quickly press it and now I know there is no going back. A couple seconds later I get a reply.
J: I don't know, do you want to date?
R: I don't know how to put this but I kind of do, do you?
J: Yeah
R: Alright then I guess we are dating then?
J: I guess.
I hear my dad call me downstairs.
R: I have to go, see you tomorrow.
At least now I have someone at school that I can actually talk to. But at the same time I feel kind of bad for James because now he will be called the "losers" girlfriend, unless if we don't tell anyone. I sigh and then head downstairs.
