Riley's POV
I start to get really nervous because I can't see my parents now because of this stupid storm.
"How long do you think it's going to last?" I say while pacing around.
"I don't know, but your going to have to stay the night, maybe try texting your dad."
I sigh and that gets me more nervous, but I pull out my phone.
R: The storms really bad so I'm going to have to stay at James'.
D: I'll pick you up.
R: No dad, I don't want to risk it please stay at home I'll be fine.
D: Alright, but if you need me just text or call.
R: There's nothing to worry about Dad.
I guess I can't be worried the whole night so I'm just going to have to get through it like I do everyday. I take a deep breath and I know I'm going to be fine, I'll be fine.
James POV
I watch Riley text her dad and then take a deep breath and she all of a sudden seems better.
"Are you feeling better?" I ask.
"I guess, I mean I'm here the whole night so what's the point of worrying for that long!" She says then smiles and I can tell that she will be fine.
•••••
The whole night we watched movies until 12 because the power didn't go out quite yet, but I know it will soon cause right now we're in the bad part of the thunder storm."Where do you feel comfortable sleeping?" I ask her.
The thunder crashes."I honestly don't mind where I sleep at all."
The thunder crashes even louder and she jumps."Do you feel comfortable sleeping with me? I have a huge bed."
Riley's POV
I honestly don't know of i feel comfortable sleeping with James, but I guess he does have a huge bed so I could just sleep to one side.
"I guess." I say.
"Do you have anything to wear to bed other than that?" He asks.
"I'm wearing comfy clothes, I'll be fine."
"Alright then, I guess this is goodnight then." After that he turns out the lights.
